Yellow Taxi Service

Great taxi service! Flew in from Reno to SF airport and scheduled with them before. They picked me up on time and driver was very nice and talkative. Also used the same taxi service to go back to the airport and same service. Would definitely recommend them!

Close to 6 months since i have been using their services.
Right on time - they know how long will it take with traffic and without the traffic.

ZERO STAR. We arranged a ride to the airport. The Driver did not bother to call nor showed up. We called another Cab company. UNRELIABLE, POOR SERVICE.

These guys are just terrible. If you want poor service, drivers that don't speak English or know their way around the city, these ARE you guys, but that is only if they will bother to pick you up, because they might if they feel like it, but who really knows?!?!

Before the era of Lyft and Uber and the like, I took them because what was my choice? But thank goodness you have a choice today right? Not there is not more guessing if the taxi will arrive in 2 minutes or 1 hour, if at all...you have options!

Avoid this dangerous, costly and poor service option for local transportation!

I usually have to fly out for work every month. I cant stay how punctual these guys are. One time i had the cab driving waiting for me outside my place for 20 minutes.

Always pleasant professional courteous staff. I would high recommend them.

Easy to reach and dependable. So far i've had a great experience and they have come through for me on many occasions.

Friendly service, polite drivers and good prices. Can't beat that easily in the bay!

Be warned, they have two Yelp pages, and unfortunately I went to the one that had three reviews that were all positive at "Yellow and Black Cab" (I suspect the reviews are not legitimate)!

Here was my email to them about my complaint about not being picked up a few weeks ago even though I received confirmation from them:

Your taxi never came to get me yesterday!

I not only have an email confirmation of my reservation, but I even called you on July # to confirm my reservation, and you told me you had me in your system and you even read my address and pick-up time to me!

I had to get to Oakland Airport by 5:30am. I have in my call history trying to frantically get through to you at 4:59am, 5:02am, 5:04am, 5:07am, and 5:12am but it all went to voicemail. I couldn't wait anymore, and since you left me in a bind since no one else could drive me at the last second in the early morning I had to drive my own car, which is what I wanted to avoid, and now I'm going to be stuck with a bill for $132 since I had to park at airport an entire week. I don't know what happened or what your excuse could be, but I'm requesting you pay for my parking bill since you did not honor your part of the agreement in picking me up. I tend to give businesses second chances, so I hope you will do the honorable thing and pay my parking bill; otherwise, I will have to report your business.


Needless to say, this company has absolutely no integrity and is not honorable since they didn't even apologize or respond! This company needs to be put out of business. I wish I could give it negative 100 stars!

I always use these guys and they never fail to impress, always save me last minute!

The service is great, no complaints. Driver arrived on time and was very nice. I Would definitely recommend them for use. Raj provided good conversation to make the commute seem more enjoyable.

They get 4 stars even though I'll never use them again cause I'm in Southern California, but I did appreciate that the owners contacted me directly! I didn't see his message until two years later, lol

Easy! called at 830am on a Saturday for a pickup to OAK at 930. I live in the windy roads of Montclair and my driver was on time and it was a pleasant ride. Asked me which way I wanted to go and I could tell he knew his way around. About $35 pre-tip.
