A cute little corner restaurant. Had my Chinese friends with me so they helped with ordering as usual told them as long as I get my string beans and eggplant I will be a happy camper.

The owner/staff were friendly and was willing to make my request of string beans and eggplant combo. Turned out super amazing, all the food we had was tasty and not too oily! I will definitely come back!

A nice little family owned Chinese restaurant that I went to during a lunch break recently. It's in Broadway in Burlingame so you do have to pay for parking and there are parking lots nearby. The restaurant is in a corner and it's pretty clean inside which is a plus. Service is solid as well. You know what you're in for when you see chopsticks AND a fork set on the table.

      What I ordered:
      - Sesame Chicken Lunch Special ($15.95) with Corn Chowder Soup included
      - Mu Shu with Pork ($17.50)
      - Loose Leaf Tea ($4.25/Pot)

You're probably wondering why their tea is even notable, but it's mainly because they don't use cheap tea bags and use actualy tea leaves to steep. In that case I consider paying for the tea worth it and I'm not tea expert, but the tea was really fragrant. It was surprisingly better tea than most authentic Chinese restaurants I have been to.

My dad ordered the Mu Shu with pork and the plate with the filling of pork and veggies was absolutely loaded. If you rarely get to try Mu Shu then this is a great spot to try it out. The wrap comes comes in a container that said "tortillas" which was funny, but they were pretty good and had the perfect soft texture.

I also ordered the Sesame Chicken Lunch Special for myself which comes with white rice and a soup of your choice which I opted for the corn chowder instead of the hot and sour. Their soups are pretty solid. The sesame chicken actually had a nice crisp and a good glaze to it. It wasn't really anything special and was really standard, but it was good enough flavor wise. The broccoli on the side was flavorless and undercooked although that was expected. The side salad was a little too heavy on the dressing. Overall a pretty solid lunch.

I would say this is a pretty good option for some authentic Chinese food while also having your standard Americanized Chinese dishes too. While also having fairly reasonable prices.

I've been going to this place for about a decade. I can count on 1 finger the number of times I've had a less than stellar meal here in the last 10 years. We've made it a tradition to go here every Christmas Eve as well. This is what I'd consider high quality Americanized Chinese food. I'm talking, white meat chicken, leanish meat, loads of veggies and nice mix of spicy, sweet, sour flavored sauces. All of the standards are really good- but I always order the mandarin eggplant with shrimp and chicken, chicken chowmein, fried rice and egg rolls. Both takeout and dinning options are delicious. Don't sleep on their chili sauce.

This is a response to Calvin after my 7/15/2024 review. You had a bad attitude and even my husband found you to be disrespectful. He said "Who throws fod away at 2:01. For your information there is no place online that has your lunch special menu or the time it ends. Your website shows lunch until 2:30. I can see why there was noone in your restaurant when we arrived at 2:00. You need to learn to be more professional to your patrons! You need not make excuses for your behavior. Customers should be valued. Take responsibility for your own poor service instead of blaming your customers.
You are a terrible businessman and I will make sure to tell everyone I know why they shouldn't dine at your restaurant. Those I have already told agree with me and are surprised by your poor condescending and unprofessional attitude. GOOD RIDDENS! At the end of the day you and your business are the LOSERS!

Came here yesterday evening to celebrate Mother's Day to avoid the crowds on Sunday and was very happy with the experience.
After hearing such great reviews from other people we were very excited with admittedly high expectations.
We ordered soup dumplings, pan fried potstickers, phoenix wings, double pan fried noodles with beef, three coins in the fountain, generals chicken, and broadway chicken fried rice.

The soup dumplings were fantastic and hot and exactly what we were hoping for. The potstickers were nice as well. These potstickers were definitely on the thinner side and reminded me of a Japanese Gyoza. The phoenix wings were savory, crunchy excellence. The general's chicken was crispy spicy goodness. The rice was well made with nice pieces of chicken and soy beans. This particular rice was more loose and not sticky and clumpy. I personally prefer my fried rice kinda sticky and clumpy so it wasn't my preference but it was still nicely made. The double pan fried noodles with beef was hands down my favorite dish and what I was most looking most forward to. It had the crunchy noodles but soon to be saturated with that delicious sauce with crisp vegetables and yummy beef. Just thinking about it makes me hungry again.

The only dish that left a little more to be desired was the three coins in the fountain seafood dish. I was excited to order seafood with my mother because nobody in my house eats it therefore it is something I don't often make. This particular dish came with prawns, scallops, calamari, and sole. It's also one of the more expensive dishes on the menu. When it arrived at our table I wasn't sure what it was at first because it was so small with hidden pieces of seafood. The sole on the dish was tender and delicious but the calamari and the scallops were rubbery. Very unpleasant. Not only that but the dish itself was pretty bland and didn't have any distinct flavors. Definitely something I won't order again.

Overall a lovely experience. The service was nice and accommodating. They were attentive and helpful with our baby which is so much appreciated. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Nice enough for a special night out but casual enough for a quick weekday lunch.

We can't wait to come back and try more things! Thank you. No

      Hi,

This restaurant was on my to - try list and so we tried them out. Had the chicken, green beans in black bean sauce. Was good, but nothing special that I'll crave and remember about.

The person who took my order over the phone was friendly.

Prices are on the higher end.

Love, love, love this neighborhood gem! Our favorites usually include the Mongolian Beef, Basil Eggplant & Won Ton Soup. Indulged & added Sweet & Sour Pork to our order this time, and zero regrets. It was sooo good!!! The owner is always so friendly too. Can't wait to come back.
