Yuppie Cantina

Nice little bar. The beer was cold. Service was good. We were the only ones there though. Happy hour specials would be cool. We liked the feel of the place. It seemed like they were working on it when we were there. We liked the pool tables and the pinball machine. Its a nice dive bar. We will be back.

Nunca he probado la comida así no puedo comentar en ella. Me gusta la margarita yuppie con jugo de guayaba. Que pinche padre. La neta ‍ Sería mejor si pude pagar con tarjeta. Me gusta la música y ambiente. Tiene en frente una barra, un piso para bailar, y algo como un área de lounge. Atrás hay billares y un patio. Ta chido. La gente un poca rara. Las meseras se miran muy joven. Y los clientes no muy sociable. Nunca conocí a nadie. Fui 3-4 veces y las únicas personas con quien hablé eran el micólogo y el DJ. Soy una persona muy sociable así no se xk era tan difícil este lugar.

This place is disgusting. I walked into the women's restroom and saw a man walk out laughing and noticed he had peed in the corner of the women's bathroom. This is not the place for a female. It's all males and it has sketchy vibes.

Simple relaxed environment to chill out with few friends. They have got few tables, pool and dart. Staff was friendly.

Yippie for Yuppie Bar!

I'm not gonna lie, but at first when I glanced in this bar I thought it was pretty sketch. The interior of the bar didn't seem to really amaze me and there weren't a lot of people so I didn't think it was crackin' much. But my coworkers and I decided to crash here for the night after eating dinner at Espetus which is right across the street. Be warned! This place is CASH ONLY!

There were a lot of older folks here on a Friday night when we arrived around 9pm-ish. I knew I was going to have fun regardless because of the people I was with. Who would have known that this place ended up to be so much fun. We basically left when they were closing which is 2am. (They're open Monday-Sunday from 10am-2am...DAMN.)

I think what I liked most about this bar/dive bar was that they had darts to throw in the back and an air hockey table. I didn't like the Juke Box idea that much just because you would have to pay to play a song everytime. Good thing there was a crap load of people around the juke box area so they paid for a song everytime...hehe. Yuppies even had an outdoor area in the back where you can smoke, drink, and just chill for some fresh air if you're too drunk to function ;)

Surprisingly, I ended up enjoying myself at Yuppies. Prices on drinks here are decent. Pretty much like every other bar. They do sell jello shots which is pretty cool.

Overall, props to Yuppies for having games in the back. My drunkeness became useful and I used most of my energy trying to beat my coworkers at air hockey :P Good night indeed after feasting at Espetus!

Nice bar name!

A little, unassuming bar, with a small, hard-to-notice entrance, this little place outside of the main downtown area is pretty divey and oddly comfortable. There are TVs everywhere, the lighting is not dark at all, and the folks there are just there to chill and have a beer--nothing crazy like dancing or partying etc. There are even air hockey and table games at the back.

Overall, a pretty chill spot for a quiet, relaxing cold one after a day of work.

The jalapeño popper chips they sell at the counter are addictive. :)
I like any bars where I can leave a wad of cash in front of me and they take what they need. :)

This place holds so many memories for me and has for decades. Costume parties, lingerie shows, prime rib dinner night, singing, dancing to the jukebox and friends that were and are life/long. Even had memorial services there. Always feel

Alas yuppie has become too much of a dive, even for a dive bar. I had hoped the owners would have tried to make some improvements over the pandemic. Nope. The main issue is the smell. Reminds me of my sons rank sandals/feet. Bar stools are wonky and uncomfortable. Fridge on the verge of a breakdown noisy. Ripped up booth seat. CO2 mix is off and tap lines I'd guess are dirty given how I felt the next day. Tender fast forwarded a jukebox pick of my friends. I'm bummed my go to bar is no longer my go to. I understand the pandemic cut into the business something fierce, but yuppies issues are basic maintenance and hygienic ones that should be addressed. I hope they do.
