Zefferelli's

Tucked upstairs on a bustling downtown street, this place makes you feel in a different world than downtown Vancouver. It's quaint and charming and yes, it's hot as hell in the summer, but the big open windows help (if you reso definitely request a window seat).

It's upscale but stripped down without the frills. Service is observant and efficient but not overbearing.

The food is very generous, the spaghetti cooked perfect with a rich flavourful meat sauce with chunks of meat. Bread and marinara sauce as you're seated.

Good food, great vibes, can't go wrong here. Classic spot.

This was a fantastic find during our (too-brief) visit to Vancouver. We were looking for an early pasta dinner, and stumbled upon this upstairs restaurant. The tiny door leading to the steep stairway gave my dining partner some pause, but we braved the stairs to find a cozy restaurant.

We were immediately greeted and seated at an open window overlooking the street. After perusing too many great options on the menu, we settled on a shared plate of spaghetti ragu - it IS a spaghetti place, afterall - and a glass of Italian red to go along with our meal.

Food was served hot, flavorful and on the table in a reasonable amount of time for freshly made food.

Our server was friendly, informative and attentive without being disruptive to our conversation or dining.

Classy and well-priced Italian restaurant with huge servings on Robson. Three in our group including myself couldn't finish because our stomachs just weren't big enough! Still thinking about the Rock Crab Linguine although their Spaghetti Ragu (marinara) was 'just okay' according to my girl who preferred a sweeter base sauce. They have a branded chili oil although it was so bland. I didn't see the point of it. The crushed chili flakes solved my spice cravings better. Really enjoyed chatting with our server who spent months traveling Asia. Keep in mind this is a second floor space, and while it has a gorgeous interior, there's no air conditioning and it was quite sweltering on a hot evening even with large windows opened.

I'm pretty picky about Italian food and I have no complaints about this spot. The service was excellent. No forced cheer here, just an efficient and effective waitress. Fresh ground pepper and Parmesan was offered for the pastas. My husband's truffle stuffed pasta was delicious. Despite having a cream sauce it did not taste too heavy. I had a seafood pasta and it was really nice. The salinity of the capers and anchovies really shone through and the pasta itself had a great chew to it. My daughter loved her ragu and we also had a kale Caesar which was a nice fresh start to the meal. I didn't love the wine he chose (a local wine) but we're probably spoiled being from NorCal. The restaurant itself is upstairs but a lot of them were in this spot. Made for a nice view and more quiet atmosphere. Definitely would revisit this spot.

We came in to town and found this restaurant our first night and loved the atmosphere. Food was great. We came back from our trip and stopped at 4 other places and decided to go back. We were not disappointed! I don't think you can order anything that is not good. I'm not a person that loves veal and I loved the veal here. Staff are all working hard and hustling the whole time. Friendly Staff and great service, great food.

The food at Zeffirelli is delicious! I got the Crab Linguine it tasted great!! The service was good as well. The ambiance was great too. The servers were nice and gave us complimentary bread with marinara sauce. I loved everything about this restaurant. I recommend going here for dinner!!

Don't forget to ask for extra bead to dip in the lemon & butter sauce. The pasta servings are generous, ideal for sharing or enjoying leftovers as a delicious next day's lunch.

The food here is fantastic. We had penne salsiccia, the linguine puttanesca, spaghetti carbonara and they were all great. The place is quaint and inviting. The service was absolutely great and attentive. The place is located upstairs which also gives you a good view. Their bread was also delicious and warm.

Wow oh wow! Did I not expect this little gem tucked away at the top of the staircase to be so supreme! My fiance got the chicken parm and I delved into the Spaghetti Carbonera and both were simply amazing. The staff ans ambiance is on point as well!

Food was amazingly good and the service was even better! Visiting from Hollywoods and enjoyed our dinner immensely! Nice window seating!
