Thank you, Alain, for your detailed review of the window cleaning services that I provided for you. I too was very pleased with the results of the window and mirror cleaning. I suppose as a self-employed individual or small local business there is more "on the line" and we, therefore, ensure quality service and results. Not to mention that we typically enjoy the work that we carry out and the pleasure that our customers get from the cleaning service.

Dear Nuha A., I am sorry to hear that you apparently had such a bad experience (price only) with Zuke Cleaning that it inclined you to write a negative review which has negatively affected the rating of our business. I understand that everyone has a budget that they should stay within and clearly pressure washing service was not in your budget. The fact that you did not want to spend the money on a service does not mean that we are a poor service provider which your rating has portrayed. It would be more valid if you had found a competitor that would do the cleaning at a significant price discount to our quoted price...but according to your review you did not find a suitable competitor of ours that would do the job for you.

Nuha A., you state that the service was too expensive so you took your own personal time to drive to and shop for a pressure washer then clean your deck on your own time. This is akin to someone saying that the cost of an oil change at service center "XYZ" was too expensive and it was much cheaper when I went to Wal-Mart to purchase 4 litres of oil, jack up my vehicle, drain the oil, and then discharge the oil by myself!!

Many people have constraints that would prevent them from doing it themselves and feel extremely blessed (my customers words) that they found our service and have already scheduled for next spring. Not everyone has the mechanical know how, storage space, or disposable time to complete a pressure washing job and therefore rely on service providers. In many of my 5-star Yelp reviews my customers state that my prices are "fair" and "reasonable". We wouldn't be as busy as we are if the prices were unjust. Every human has their own sense of "value"!

Nuha A., you state "he couldn't be bothered to come check it - asked for photos". This is actually common practice in the industry. It is unreasonable to expect a contractor to drive through Vancouver traffic to provide a price quote for a potential customer when a simple photo will be suitable in most circumstances. In complex projects or if I cannot clearly see or understand a larger patio, deck, driveway, window, etc. arrangement then I will suggest to the customer that a site visit is more appropriate to provide an accurate quote. We are in a new era where photos transmitted within seconds is working quite well for both the contractors and the customers (customers don't need to schedule time in their day to meet with a contractor).

What I do not understand is how you can justify posting such a scathing and low rating when you did not genuinely receive any poor service. In fact, according to the "text log" when you contacted me at 5/3/18 12:39 and I returned your message 5/3/18 12:40...that's correct, 1 Minute later I tried to accommodate your request! Even though you made an unreasonable request for "same day" or "next day" service (nearly impossible for any pressure washing company during PEAK season), I did my best to try to fit you in (Again, documented in the "text log"). Did you forget that level of exceptional service that was provided to you?
