In my opinion, the sushi is the best bang for your buck in all of Vancouver. We can't wait to come back! We came here just after the lunch rush on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all. Of course, we all got the omakase. The price of $35/person for 11 pieces and 1 handroll is a total steal, especially considering the quality of the rice and fish! The rice is seasoned well that it doesn't overpower the flavour of the fish and each piece of fish was so fresh and delicious. No wasabi is served since it's already included in the nigiri. The restaurant definitely has Japan hole in the wall vibes, which I love. I believe the owner and his wife run the restaurant on their own so you'll just need to be patient if it's busy there. It's definitely worth the wait. Note the restaurant will be closed between mid July to August 24. -
