Shannon’s 2-star review: My friend and I came here to get hair cuts, and overall, I was not impressed. My friend had gotten a hair cut and and a deep conditioning treatment at Federico some months back and it had been a good experience, so I decided to take her up and the suggestion and we went together for a budget spa day type of dealio. I'm very familiar and used to being a client at beauty schools because I have been to the Paul Mitchel school numerous times and always had great results. In any case, this school is housed in an upscale, nice-looking facility, but the looks of it are sort of a facade. The stylist who did my hair was nice enough, but she had horrible social skills (didn't introduce herself to me, didn't shake my hand, nothing...I had to ask her what her name was!) She also seemed totally bored and uninspired to be there, and although the finished result looks okay, I didn't care for the way in which she cut my hair. My friend's stylist, however, didn't have a prayer and she ended up doing exactly what my friend asked her NOT to do! The instructors came around and tried to fix my friends hair, but her hair cut ended up taking something like two hours because she messed up and was toally unable to hold a conversation and cut hair simultaneously! If that's the case, DON"T TALK! I know this is a school, but a simple hair cut should not take two hours. I also thought it was weird that the cashier told me to give the tip directly to my stylist instead of leaving it at the desk for her in a little envelope or something, like most places do it...I went back out on the floor, found her, and put some money in her hand. That was just strange! The last straw was when I was hanging out by my friend, chatting with her while she was still getting her hair cut, and an instructor came by and told me that they couldn't have people hanging out on the floor and that I needed to wait in the lobby. Okay, fair enoguh. But then a group of three women walked in, only ONE of whom was getting her hair cut, and the other ladies asked if they could come in and watch on the floor, and the stylist said, "sure!" THAT really pissed me off, too! P.S. - My stylist mentioned that most of the instructors at the school were stylists who couldn't make it at Super Cuts so they came to Federico to teach beauty school! That sure doesn't say much! -
Shannon’s 1-star review: What a bullshit store!!! If you can even call it a store...more like some kind of strange "hobby business" for the owner, who is a bitch on wheels and actively turns new potential customers away. This place gives that block of University Ave a bad name! I know this because I lived in Palo Alto back when Shaska first opened and had an experience much like everyone else here has described, but from what it sounds like, it has only gotten worse...back then, she used to lock the door only sometimes. The only other interaction I ever had with the owner was at the coffee shop across the street when I was doing some reading for one of my pre-grad school psych classes, and she commented on my book and asked me where I was going to school. I told her I was going to get my masters at SFSU in counseling and she said, Oh that's a horrible program, you should just go to New College! HA! Yeah right lady! She is cray-cray to the max, but apparently thinks she has some sort of knowledge of the higher education psychology world in the bay area. Ironic! -
Shannon’s 2-star review: Because of their little "one size, one milk" mantra, or whatever it is, Farley's failed to get my business. There's no need for all that half caf, no foam, no whip, three pump, extra hot double venti machiato gibberish, I agree...that I understand perfectly. But offering two or three different sized drinks, as well as at least one lower fat milk option? I really don't think that's too much to ask. I have great respect for the "coffee purist" school of thought, and I don't mind having the basics, or even just more limited options, when it comes to coffee & espresso drinks. But the selection at Farley's is just a little bit too basic. Hey, at least they offer soy milk, so one extra star for that. I think I understand what they're trying to go for, but seriously, health-wise, this just isn't a real sound business model. Not everyone is down for soy milk. What about people who have high cholesterol? Who are trying to stay on low fat diets? Who are at risk for heart disease? Who have lactose issues? I know that I, personally, fall into one or more of those categories! So I walked down the street to Chat's, and they hooked me up with a nice small low fat latte...see, nothing fancy, nothing wacky...just a few specifics that Farley's doesn't happen to offer their customers. -
Shannon’s 2-star review: Initially intriguing, but highly un-memorable. I had great hopes for this place, seeing how it's in such a convenient location for me, but you'd much sooner find me at I Luv Teriyaki & Sushi just a few blocks down, which actually does offer interesting rolls at a much more reasonable price. No major problems here, just pretty uninspired sushi, in my opinion. The one thing that does stand out was when I asked the server if I could possibly order a california roll with real crab as opposed to imitation, and he was like, oh no, that roll would cost way more if it had real crab in it...dude, I know that, I get it, and I am willing to pay more...I am simply asking you if it *can* be done...but he responded as if my requesting snow crab at a sushi restaurant was like way too much to ask. I think not...probs won't be back to this one, but am glad I at least gave it a go! -
Shannon’s 2-star review: As a few other folks have noted here, their pad see ew is WHACK! I discovered this about two years ago and never returned until tonight (boyfriend said I should give them a second chance). So we try it again. Still not really doing it for me. We had the fried tofu appetizer, a bowl of vegetable tom kar soup, and the eggplant & green bean green curry. The curry was the only passable dish, and the eggplant in it was pretty good, but the tom kar was a weird hodge-podge of random veggies, and the tofu was pretty bland (then again, I don't like tofu). I have to give it to them on service, though. The service is right on the money, our water glasses never went below half empty. I left a good tip. The food really just wasn't all that good. I can't be going to Thai restaurants where the pad see ew is bad, that just isn't going to work for me! -

Shannon’s 2-star review: I checked out some reviews of Your Place after a friend of my boyfriend's suggested it for dinner last night. It got pretty high ratings on here, so I was expecting good things. We started with the shrimp wraps, which everyone else seemed to like, but to me, the shrimp had an off flavor to it...like a toxic taste, almost...but I didn't make a big deal out of it, since I was the only one who seemed to notice it...but hey, I have a pretty refined palate!!! I also had their pad khi mao with salmon, which they served with the fillet on top of the noodles, rather than pieces of salmon mixed in, which was interesting. I liked all the fresh veggies in the dish, but it was a bit greasy, and again, I was detecting a sort of rotten flavor in a few bites! Not good! I finally discovered that it was the basil which tasted old. My boyfriend, however, ordered the pumpkin curry, which was REALLY good, so I think I was just down on my luck last night! The thai iced coffee was good too, but nothing special. The service was very relaxed-they were certainly in rush to get us out of there! Berkeley has sooooo many Thai restaurants that I don't I would pick this one again. There were obviously some freshness problems going on in the kitchen, which is pretty inexcusable. -
Shannon’s 2-star review: I was really excited to try Sushi Rika after looking at their "photo menu" on their website...the special rolls are just so good-looking (take a peek and you'll see what I mean)!!! Well, the first roll we ordered, I liked a lot-it was mango, salmon and avocado w/ mango and strawberry sauce...but the second roll-which was called the "kamikaze" roll, I believe-was one of the grosser things I've ever encountered in a restaurant setting. On the menu, it was described as asparagus tempura and spicy tuna topped with tuna garlic ponzu. They didn't bother to mention that the tuna on top was actually yellowtail...and I generally prefer regular tuna (maguro) over yellowtail (hamachi), but even so, this hamachi was WACK!!! It was sooooo gross...all choppy and stringy and slimy. And I am not someone who typically has "problems" at restaurants, but my boyfriend and I both love sushi, and I think this was maybe the first time we left maybe half of a roll untouched. When the server came around, I didn't front like we were just full or something...I actually told her we weren't into the roll. She was nice enough to offer to comp us a dessert at that point, since, as she put it, we "didn't like the food." I felt kinda bad then, because it wasn't that...the first roll was actually really good...and I eat sushi all the time, it wasn't as if I was some random non-sushi eating person trying out a new cuisine for the first time, and just so happened to not like it...I'm telling you, this supposed hamachi was just abnormal...oh yeah, and it tasted like shit...NOT a good sign with FISH!!! Like I said, I was really bummed, because I was expecting the sushi to be as scrum-didily-umtous as it looked on the menu. But...no...that was a certifiably bad experience. I did appreciate the gesture with the dessert on the house to make sure we left satisfied, though. -
Shannon’s 2-star review: You know what, I like Red Lobster okay, and it is one of my boyfriend's all time faves in the way of chain restaurants, so I try to make sure that we go from time to time...I love seafood, and I certainly don't mind their frozen tropical cocktails...the cheddar biscuits aren't half bad, either... But tonight I had an eye-opening experience...and the thing is, I know that Red Lobster isn't the only restaurant guilty of this American phenomenon, either, by any means...but there's one thing I really can't stand, and it's being wasteful with food. It was really fucked up...my boyfriend ordered the "Endless Shrimp" meal, right...it sounded like a pretty good deal. Basically you can order as much shrimp as you want (all you can eat) and they bring it out to you on smaller separate plates after the initial servings on the first big plate. So for the first serving he ordered shrimp scampi and buffalo shrimp, and when he was about halfway through with that, our server asked us if we wanted to put in another order, so he ordered the shrimp linguine. The server said that the second round takes a while to come out sometimes, so she suggested that he order another plate, too, while he was at it, so he got another buffalo shrimp...well, they ended up bringing us more than TWICE that much food, TWO more orders of shrimp scampi, and THREE more orders of buffalo shrimp. A food runner brought it all out to us, and I was just like, okay WHOA, who in the hell could eat all that?!?!?! I told him that we had actually only ordered ONE buffalo shrimp and ONE shrimp scampi, and he was like, oh well, don't worry about it, you can just have the extras, too, and you can take home what you don't finish... Okay, fine, so I figured we'd just take it home and have dinner all set for tomorrow night...but then at the end of the meal, our regular server said, oh no, it's dine-in only, you can't take it home... Now, HOW WASTEFUL IS THAT!!! That is so not cool in my book. I understand that they have to make it dine-in only for a deal like that, and that's not what annoyed me...what really pisses me off is that she had no problem bringing out twice as much food as we had ordered. I'm sure some people would have loved that, but not me. Wasting food is something I try to avoid at all costs, and I had absolutely no control over it in this circumstance. Even worse, I feel like our experience translates to a really large scale problem with restaurants like this. If this happened to us, it must've been happening to other diners around us, and it probably happens every night...and again, I realize that some people actually revel in being surrounded by such a glutenous, surplus display of food...but for me, it's a model of business that I simply can't support. Call me crazy, but I would rather pay $20 for a meal that I am able to finish at one sitting than $10 for one that I can't finish and am not allowed to take home in a doggie bag! -
Shannon’s 2-star review: Bristol Farms seems pretty shiesty, if you ask me. When I lived in Spain, there was this ginormous department store called El Corte Ingles, and they sold groceries and foodstuffs on the bottom level, and household items and clothes (a la Macy's) on the subsequent levels...I think they seriously sold like, EVERYTHING you might ever need at El Corte Ingles...talk about one-stop shopping!! and Spaniards seemed to like it too, and patronized it quite readily...so when Bristol Farms opened up in Westfield, I thought, well hey, this might be cool, I can clothes shop and food shop at the same location... But this shit is WAY OVERPRICED!!! I mean, coming from a Safeway/Trader Joe's shopper, I absolutely cannot stand paying more than I have to for things like oregano and tomatoes and garlic! I mean, Bristol Farm's mozzarella cheese is no better than Safeway's mozzarella cheese-I mean, damn, it's the SAME BRAND, even!!!-but it's $3 more at Bristol Farms. I also noticed that a lot of items in the store didn't have a clearly marked price associated with them. Hello ANNOYING! I am not made of money as so to just not care how much I am spending at the grocery store...this is not a five star restaurant with a "priceless menu," or whatever the hell those are called, this is a grocery store! I'm not okay with that! I'll skip the whole one-stop shopping concept here in the U.S., and save it for when I go back to Spain! -
Shannon’s 2-star review: This review is for their auto repair services, only. I used to come here back when I was super naive about the ways of the world (i.e., mechanics, esp. dealership mechanics, can and will rip you off, it you let them). While they did get the job done just fine, I felt like they were just trying to find stuff that was "wrong" with the car. This needed repair, that needed repair, so and so was starting to wear down, and they just wouldn't feel right about letting me drive away without having fixed EVERYTHING! Yeah, I'm sure! They are perfectly nice here, but that's how they managed to get people like me to spend HUNDREDS of dollars on menial repairs! No more! I've moved on! -
Shannon’s 2-star review: Well, I feel kind of scared to dis on El Farolito with all the super high reviews on here, but I MUST stand firm in my (albeit, occasional) non-conformist ways... And honestly, folks, here's a word to the wise: If you're going to eat at El Farolito, do it in moderation. I ate there WAY WAY WAY TOO OFTEN during my first six months of living in San Francisco, and once I hit a certain mark...well, in the subsequent year and a half, I have not gone there once, except for this one time when my boyfriend went on tour with a bunch of musicians from out of town and when they got to SF they were all hellbent on going there! So we sucked it up and went, but that was the only time! It gets old pretty quick, and my so does the motley crew of people who show up in the AM after hours for a late night snack. A guy even grabbed my friend's crotch once when we were packed inside waiting... um, NO, just because we are all bound together in our common quest for drunk food does not suddenly make the burrito line a groping free-for-all! I mean, SHIT! -
Shannon’s 2-star review: A nasty, trashy little event that attracts hoards of nasty, trashy people!!! I went last year because my boyfriend was asked to perform, and he needed me to sex up his otherwise squeaky-clean yo yo act! It was a truly bizzare experience. I personally found very little of what I witnessed that night neither exotic, nor erotic, in any way, shape or form! And the amount of spectator-only participation was pretty shocking...every direction I looked, I saw groups of guys in street clothes going around with camcorders and just video tapping any and all of the T&A they could find. ICKY! -
Shannon’s 1-star review: I've been meaning to give this place a real mean, seething, nasty review for weeks now...thought I might as well do it tonight while I'm on a roll! Up until recently, I would buy gas here pretty frequently since it's one of the cheaper spots in the mission and they give a "cash discount" (if you pay with cash as opposed to credit, you save a few cents per gallon). As such, I one day pulled in here before a long-distance drive with an already half full tank, and gave the cashier a twenty. My tank took something like $14.95 worth of gas, so I hopped back inside to get my $5.05 in change. Simple enough, right? WRONG! The woman dismissively throws me a nickel and starts to ring up the next person in line. I was like, uh, hold up, I need five more dollars back. She was like, "no, you gave me $15..." and she kept ringing up the person behind me. She just wanted to get rid of me, it was so obvious! But I was like, oh HELLS NO, woman! This woman, by the way, had a mullet, and lemme tell ya, it was baaaaaad. I said, "excuse me, but I originally gave you a twenty dollar bill!" and she goes, "I don't think so." She was really looking me up and down, frowning all over me and shit...she was just so sure that she was right, you know, and it was totally unfounded! LIke I, of all people, would try to rip Gas and Stop off five flipping bucks! And she was super harsh and rude about it, too..like I couldn't have POSSIBLY given her a twenty, like there was NO WAY in hell that I could've! Finally, I just looked her straight in the eye, stood my ground, and said, "NO...I gave you twenty dollars, and you now owe me five dollars." She reluctantly opened the cash drawer and produced a five dollar bill at that point, frowning at me the whole time. I was so pissed! The nerve! I can't believe this woman tried to play me for a fool! I understand that she might have been suffering from low company morale that day or something, but you can't NOT CARE so much that you rudely shoo away paying customers who just want proper change! -
Shannon’s 1-star review: You know, I really hate to do this, but I'm going to do it anyway. I'm gonna go ahead and dis A and F BIG TIME for no good reason. I despise everything this store stands for and everything that it's about in every way; it's a disgusting american enterprise that perpetuates superficiality, conformity and mob mentalities to the extreme. Even if it wasn't for all the racist/sexist/generally prejudiced claims against this company, (which to be quite honest, I don't have all the facts on, I've more just picked up on the stories through hearsay), I would still find it repulsive. I just can't stand the aesthetic of it. People who shop here apparently haven't been able to individuate themselves in any walk of life; the clothing sold here is nothing short of a uniform for dullards who just want to "fit in," and look safe. I don't even like to WALK BY this store in the shopping center. Why? Because you can freaking SMELL it and HEAR it minutes before you even pass it. It's like, ok, you do you, but at least keep it INSIDE the confines of the store, and don't make me deal with your retched spill-over. Last time I had to walk by, these two super chiseled dudes were just standing in the entryway, shirtless, with low-rise jeans and blase facial expressions. I guess they were technically "modeling" or something for A and F. All I have to say about that is, good for you and your fine ass, but I'm not interested. -
Shannon’s 3-star review: NOT a $50-caliber pedicure by ANY stretch of the imagination! I came here because my feet were looking shabby and I had a gift certificate on hand that my aunt had given me for Christmas. Granted, my feet look a lot better than they did when I walked into the place, but I gotta say, I've had better (like at Silk on Franklin st., and for half the price!) Everyone was very nice (the reception staff, the nail technicians), but I couldn't help but the judge the entire experience. I just expected it to be top notch, in every respect, and it just wasn't. Namely, they had a sad collection of nail polishes to chose from...WTF??? I couldn't really even find a color I liked, so I settled on a metallic rust. I had more of a matte burgundy in mind, but they didn't have that. I mean, c'mon folks...let's beef up the selection a little bit! Like I said, the best pedicure I've ever had in SF was at Silk...they have tons of nail polishes to choose from, they put flower petals in your foot bath, and they have CANDY!!! 'nuff said! La Belle didn't have any of that. They front like they're super high class and state of the art, but truth be told, their equipment and products (at least for mani/pedis) are totally and completely run of the mill. * I do have to say that I've been to the Stanford location and liked in MUCH better! That was several years ago. -
Shannon’s 2-star review: This place is pretty scary. I only came here once last year, and it was with some out-of-town friends who were basically petitioning for a place to dance over all else. Every bar around 16th street was packed, so it was Skylark or bust. Oddly enough, I managed to enjoy myself on the dance floor for all of maybe five songs, despite the rampant marijuana fumes that were infiltrating the place...but once some dudes starting coming in with the hard sell, I had to say check ya later. Two stars for being an actual meant-for-dancing venue in the mission. Never again, though. -
Shannon’s 2-star review: Cool, but not my thing. The food is just not grubbin' enough for me, and I know it's not about that, but a girl's gotta eat, you know what I'm saying, and when I say "eat," I mean salt, sugar, fat, and traditional cooking methods not withheld!!! -
Shannon’s 1-star review: not so much. had one incident in here and it was enough to make sure i never go back. so i walk in, just little old me, i wouldn't say i take the look of any one "scene" to an extreme, if you know what i mean, so here i am, just this normal looking 20 something woman, and every employee in the store just turned...stared...gawked, really...at me, as I walked in. not one word of hello, hi, how are you, how can i help you, etc. certainly no smiles. now, i ask you this, why on earth would i go into this bike shop in the future for any of my cycling needs, with so many other local bike shops, after i had people react to me in this manner...why??? and why was i treated like such a FREAK!?!? if you are going to cater to the bike scene crowd in the mission, fine, that's great, go ahead, but have some respect for individuals who don't fit the bill down to a tee, too. bad business. lose the F-ing 'tude, folks. -
Shannon’s 2-star review: With Zante's across the street, no no no. NO. If it stood on it's own, maybe...MAAAYY-BEEE. I do have a feeling, judging from other reviews, that on my one visit there, I probably didn't order "the right stuff." The food was high-quality, that I'll give them, but the flavors were just a bit...off. -

Shannon’s 4-star review: Ok, to be fair, I am updating my review of lost weekend video. I wrote my last review several years ago when they had some less than stellar people on staff manning the place. Well I have to say that since moving back to Valencia (and away from the blockbuster that was super conveniently located across the street from my old place) I decided to suck it up and give it another shot. Within just a few visits I soon realized that the vibe had improved a lot. No attitude. No funny business. Just real, helpful people that are efficient and actually care and WANT you to find the video you came in for. Plus, I'm not gonna lie - i feel like a much more WHOLE person coming here as opposed to patronizing blockbuster video. I would much rather not have to deal with the commercial disgusting-ness that is blockbuster video, so...i'm glad they shaped up and got some better people up in here. oh, AND they have a great selection of movies. yeah (but they always have- that was never the problem). -
Shannon’s 2-star review: I don't have anything great to say about St. Luke's. I decided to pick a doctor here because it's super close to my house, and I like the idea of "staying local" for certain types of services, health care included. That might've been a mistake on my part, because although everyone I've dealt with at St. Luke's has been nice enough, there have bee a couple of structural/logistical foibles that I find it hard to overlook. I picked a doctor from my insurance network that practiced at St. Luke's, and when I called her office, the receptionist confirmed that she was accepting new patients, so I went ahead and made an appointment, and a few weeks later I saw her. That was all fine until the doctor's office sent me a notice in the mail...mind you, THREE weeks after my appointment...informing me that I had an abnormal test result...so, freaked out, obviously, like I think most people would be, I call the office asap to schedule a follow-up appointment, had to speak to like three different people before I could get ahold of the right receptionist, only to have her tell me that the doctor I initially saw had just just RETIRED!!! Excuse me??!!?? Why the hell did you have this doctor accepting new patients if she's about to retire?!?! I mean, WHY!? That makes no sense at all!I was looking to establish a relationship with a new doctor in the area, so much for that!!! At the very least, they could have at least warned me that she was about to retire before I made the first appointment! If I had known that, I would not have picked that particualr doctor, and I think that's understandable. I also hate that they sent me a letter reporting the test result instead of calling me about it...maybe that's standard procedure these days, but in any case, that's just not cool! I've had better health care services at Planned Parenthood, like WAY WAY better! Worst of all, I had to wait three more weeks to come back in for a follow-up exam, and that's just despicable, because in the meantime, here I am worrying what the hell could be wrong with me! To their credit, they did re-assign a new doctor to me, but they told me that she only works on thursays and fridays, and so there were very few appointments because of the limited schedule! I could just not go back, but I want to finish what I started with them, test result and all...it just fucking sucks. -
Shannon’s 2-star review: What ended up being one of the worst dates of my entire life started off with dinner at Puerto Alegre, and I haven't been back since. I'm not planning to go back, either. Ok, so I had a decent shrimp quesadilla, and actually got kinda buzzed from the margarita...BFD...that experience could've taken place at a myriad of other spots around here, am I right??? My date knew our waitress in that chummy, "I-know-everybody-who's-a-somebody-in-the-mission" kinda way, which was gag-inducing on its own. He was a real impatient mofo and practically had a cow when she didn't show up with the bill right at the end of the meal. At that point, the whole place was just filled with bad vibes for me, so I couldn't wait to check outta there. So I had a negative experience here on a personal level, yes...but still, why the heck is this place so popular? Hey, if you like it, that's cool, I guess...go ahead, knock yourself out waiting in line outside for hours! -
Shannon’s 1-star review: A lot of people like this place...so I'm guessing I just had a bad experience there. Unfortunately, it was SO BAD that I don't think I'll be going back! So sad, it's the thai restaurant closest to my house (besides from Dusit and Chili Lemon Garlic) but I just don't think I'm gonna make it. What happened was, my boyfriend loves the lettuce wraps from P.F. Chang's, right? and so whenever he sees something on a menu that approximates lettuce wraps, I just can't say no. And as it turned out the night we went, they had some kind of lettuce wrap appetizer special with, you know, a thai twist to it. Sounded like a go... Well, when this dish came out to our table, it started off with a smell...a very fishy, fermented, UN-APPETIZING smell...at first we didn't even think the smell was coming from the food on our table, but as soon as we took a bite, we made the smell-taste connection and it was NOT GOOD. Now, I don't know if anyone here on Yelp is familiar with stinky tofu...stinky tofu (and no, I have not officially tried it, and never ever EVER will) is served in not many, but a few chinese restaurants (apperantly it's sometimes actually considered a specialty because perhaps it takes a long time to make...). It's basically fermented tofu. I find it to be a highly putrid concept, but that's just me...some people love it, I believe it has a quite a following actually, but my point is, I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR STINKY TOFU...I signed up for thai lettuce wraps. If I had wanted spicy tofu, I would have gone to Spices restaurant off of Clement! My boyfriend is all about adventurous eating and he tried some once with a friend at a restaurant in china town, so that's how I first heard about it. Anyhow, as soon as I tasted this thai lettuce wrap thingie, I just though there was some moldy ingredient in it...but my bf said, wow, this tastes like it has stinky tofu in it!!! and although he had tried stinky tofu in the past, that was like a one-time thing for him. So that just wrecked the whole night for me, partially because, whatever the hell it was, it just tasted (and smelled) awful (we later confirmed it was a flavor in the dressing) but psychologically, the whole stinky tofu association just killed me. I couldn't do it. After one bite, everything else we had that night tasted and smelled like stinky tofu. It was a truly horrifying experience. -
Shannon’s 2-star review: I had the salmon sandwich here today, and it didn't really do it for me. So sad. I'm always on the hunt for a rockin salmon sandwich! Looks like I'll be sticking to Boogaloos and Red Robin in San Bruno for this commodity. Like a few other places I've encountered, the salmon didn't actually taste very much like fish...instead, it tasted like meat. Which I didn't care for, because I don't eat meat. I guess that's just the risk you run, though, when you order a fish fillet from a "grill" or a from a place that has the word "burger" in its name. What a bummer. -
Shannon’s 2-star review: The crepe I had here was just not good. There were a lot of things wrong with it...the crepe itself was flavorless and soggy, the strawberries were not fresh (they were the kind soaking in icky, too-sweet red syrup), the gelato was blah, and the whole thing was just so poorly put together, it literally got all over my face and hands when I was eating it! Basically it tasted like one icky, messy, too-sweet blob of goo. Not a good experience. Don't go here for crepes, go to Genki or Belly Good or one of the many other places instead!
