Kenny’s 2-star review: Tried this place out the other week when I was in the area and in need of a good exterior car wash. They weren't too busy and the yelp reviews seemed pretty good overall. It was super windy so I didn't feel like washing the car myself. I can safely say I made a bit of a mistake bringing my Honda here. The hand wash was fine and the exterior of the car didn't seem damaged from what I could tell but somehow the top steering wheel had gotten noticeable faded on a section about a few inches long... like it was touched or grabbed with something abrasive. It could have been a rough towel or something worse with chemical on it. I wasn't too happy with that, its ridiculous that nothing like that has happened before at other lesser car wash places. I should have just brought it to A&J's alternatively. The people who handle the cars need to be more careful and pay more attention to touching certain parts. I won't be back here cause of this! Especially at $25 for an exterior only wash. -
Kenny’s 5-star review: Brought my car into here on a rainy day after scheduling an appointment that morning . Having never brought my car into a specialty alignment shop, I knew I was in for some good service and quality work ahead of me. Had to wait for a little bit before getting my car inside the shop, although the desk manager was more than happy to chat with me about the Vossen wheels they had seemed to be selling from the shop. I brought my 02 Honda Accord in here some much needed alignment help. Nothing too major was wrong with my suspension other than the fact that I have one leaky tire (which I had already known about) and a negative camber of 1.4 on the RR wheel. Meh, not too bad. They had a yelp check in deal discount which gave me a marginal discount on service! Good place, I should bring my other car here.:) -
Kenny’s 4-star review: "Hole in the wall" gas as my friend likes to call it.... I felt like filling up my Honda with some that night that this was just the ticket. Cheapest gas in town but the place is run down with little amenities or lighting at night. They did take credit card and we're overly busy at the time. Too bad I won't ever be back here to get gas, haha. Anyhow it was cheap from what I remember and close to downtown...don't think my gas mileage was all that great though. LOL. -
Kenny’s 5-star review: I had a leak on my low profile tire a couple of months back and which was really annoying. My TPMS had warned me that I had a tire with low pressure, but didn't tell me which one... so I figured out it was the right rear. After calling around and looking on yelp, I decided on this place since they were not overly busy on a Sat. afternoon. Over the phone, Kim assured me that they could plug or patch a 19" tire. I pulled up in front of the small shop and it looked like his assistant was taking care of plugging another persons tire. I patiently waited around the shop and flipped through a car magazine for a bit, then talked to the young guy who was fixing the other tire. He seemed to carefully work on the other customers tire, which was a good sign. Once he got to my car, he did the same. Meticulously jacked the car up and loosened the lug nuts properly with the air tool. He found the screw and showed it to me, and asked Kim for his second opinion on fixing the tire. Kim said that the tire would be very difficult to un-mount and patch, and would risk scraping the rim in the process. Kim also mentioned that he used to have a G37. He recommended to plug it from the outside, which I agreed to. He was very patient and mindful with advising me. He also knew what model my car was...IP something. And complemented on how great it looked over the base model. His tire tech. meticulously patched my tire and sprayed water on the patch to make sure there was not a leak present. I asked him to inflate the tire to 35 psi, and he even asked Kim to confirm how much to torque the lug nuts to after I asked him what it was. My tire pressure has since held up and it will hopefully be fine until the tires wear down and need to be replaced. They will prob. only last 15K-20K miles, so I guess its not a big deal that I had to get it patched after all. Such good quality work and customer service for only $10. You run a great little shop Kim! -
Kenny’s 5-star review: I did a lot of searching before deciding to go with Canlas Mobile and saw all these positive reviews here and photos online of his work. I saw all the high end cars he had done before and learned that his prices were also very competitive with all other tinting places. He works with his son tinting cars full time. During the summer, he is very busy and make sure that you schedule an appointment ahead of when you actually want your car worked on. I really had to talk my way into having him fit my car into his schedule. Luckily, he let me slip my car into his garage in the late mid afternoon. I didn't have any space in my garage. His film choices are pretty simple but the quality of tint turned out great after letting it sit for a few days in the warm sun. I like supporting excellent small businesses like the one he runs. Especially when the quality of work was even better than the last guy I used for window tinting. No major noticeable things stuck between the glass and tint. I was very happy with the front windows which looked very clean. Canlas also has an account with Sonic MS, which services many high-end cars. I had waited a while to review Canlas to prove how my tint has help up fine since the install. -
Kenny’s 5-star review: My experience here began after submitting an inquiry about the G37 convertible I saw on the new inventory section of their website. Shortly after that, I got a follow up call from Ben Ly who deals with internet sales. I setup an appointment with him the for the next day to do some Inifiniti model line comparisons. First off, we looked @ the G37 convert. on the show room floor and then the G37 IPL. The G37 convert. seemed too feminine for my taste... so I test drove the black IPL out front. Ben Ly was really knowledgeable about certain details that I asked about the car. Such as if the Key holder in the car charges the remote or if the USB input would play mp3s from a flash drive. He also mentioned that the cars audio system would only rip genuine audio CDs to the hard drive. The car has a lot more technology than I've seen in other luxury vehicles. During the IPL test drive, he mentioned all the changes and differences from the standard G37. I felt comfortable driving the vehicle, and he even let me pull it back into the showcase spot outside the entrance. Some other dealerships might not even let you test drive a car equivalent to that. I'll have to say one thing though, the IPL is definitely a fierce competitor to any other luxury GT in the same price range. Lots of standard options and equipment on that car which cannot be found on it's German competitors. Ben led us through the immaculate service center where he said you can actually view your car being serviced if you wish to do so! Naturally, we still needed to experience the FX35 to make sure I was making the right decision. The FX35 is a great crossover SUV, but it didn't fit my lifestyle. Ben helped me come to this conclusion. Later on, I got to meet the GM Alex Kerr who was pretty easygoing and straightforward. He gets down to business, is focused on running a great dealership and making customers feel comfortable. You never want a GM to be too nice or too stern, he is well in between. I had a great experience with this modern and impressive dealership. All in all, I'm glad Beshoff is my local dealer and I believe it is easily the best Infiniti dealership in the South Bay! -
Kenny’s 4-star review: Brought my parents MDX here after our San Diego road trip to get cleaned because I was already driving it up to my help my sister move. I got a online coupon which I believe gave me a discount which amounted to around $17 plus $4 for cleaning the front floor mats which probably need to eventually be replaced with all-weather mats. I was kinda confused when I pulled in as I had never really been to a car wash like this before. I've taken my car through a drive through car wash once, but other than that I prefer to wash, clean and wax my car myself. The place has an interior cleaning station first followed by what seems to be a hand rinse and then hand scrub wash to loosen up the dirt. Then the car gets rinsed and somewhat dried on the drive through line. They have windows so you can watch your own car make it through, and the waiting area is nicely shaded and there are benches too outside the car wash line. They really take their time with drying the car and making sure all spots are cleaned. It wasn't the best wash achievable but by far probably a lot better than many of the other places on Stevens Creek. I picked this placed solely on the coupon available and quality of reviews on Yelp. -
Kenny’s 4-star review: Great iconic racetrack to visit if you're into motor sports and cars. I came here for a Ferrari Racing Days event back in May. I've always wanted to visit the place but never really had the opportunity to go. I had always experience the track on numerous video racing games, and unfortunately I haven't raced on it either. I like the fact they the track has many difficult turns, namely the corkscrew. I never knew all these great spectator viewpoints existed on the real track. The only downside of attending the event was the amount of noise you will be subjected to, especially close up. Bring ear protection if you have it! It's also recommended that you get a bring a wide hat if you plan to be outside the entire time. I got sunburned pretty up top. Nonetheless, it was an experience to see these incredible Ferrari's on this track. I was even able to witness a Ferrari 458 that slid off track! Wow. I also got to see some great mobile racing garage setups in the pit area. Not sure if I'll be back soon; great track though! -
Kenny’s 4-star review: Brought my parents Acura MDX here roughly a couple months ago for an oil change because I couldn't get the oil drain plug off (must have over tightened it last change). Anyway, this is one of the nearest full service shops to home so I decided to give them a call after seeing overall good reviews. I believe it was something like $18 and I told them I was going to bring in my own oil and filter. I could have sworn that I told them this when I got there as well. Somehow they missed the oil and filter on the passenger side floor mat... Anyway, they still only charged me $18 and it wasn't until after I got in the car that I realized it. I was cool with it. One of the young guys who works here as a Supra that has over 700rwhp. Some guy came in and was like "damn! whos car is that?" -
Kenny’s 4-star review: I attended the McLaren MP4-12C showcase event here during the World Series and was able to tour most of the facility during this time. I have seen this place a few times driving past and had always been curious as to how it was inside. The party they put on was alright, the space they had seemed just large enough to hold the event. Apps and drinks were all catered with servers. In regard to the rest of the facility, everything is very well-kept an the entire place is pretty huge. They have an additional room next to the main event room that has a nice modern bar and some event space. After going through the next door it leads to the rest of the offices and car garages they lease out to businesses and individuals. While there we caught a glimpse of the Giants game which was playing inside the mini gym. Down the way, was the service and storage garage which housed an assortment of high-end cars at the time. I was able to snap some cell phone pics here, and one friend with us happened to know one of the employees here. So he ended up talking to us for a while. In the end, I was glad that I was able to check this place out and go to a special event here nonetheless.

Kenny’s 4-star review: I stopped here a while ago since I was already in the area and luckily snatched up a great deal on some Mobil 1 motor oil which seemed to sell out fast at other locations. The guy helping me was really cool and found a new full case of oil which I didn't find at other locations. Small location that doesn't seem like it would have a lot of stock but it actually seems to be less busy overall in this area which is why it had the oil I wanted. -
Kenny’s 4-star review: The store isn't huge but the guys here are helpful and very friendly. I talked about the NBA finals with the manager here and he helped me find the Mobil 5000 oil I was looking for. I easily come here if the one on Blossom Hill runs out of stock on a sale item. Next closest place to home, or an easy stop on my way back from work. -
Kenny’s 2-star review: This is my second visit to a Ferrari store and I'd have to say that it seems worse than the one in the Wynn of Las Vegas. They seems to have a lot of items, but not as much fun stuff to buy here. There are barely any car models or lego sets available here to check out. And the apparel is priced pretty high for most things, as this IS a Ferrari boutique. But the average person isn't going to want to purchase anything here, especially when they have huge Ferrari decals or sponsorship names on them. Lots of apparel at this store, ties, shirts, sweaters, jackets, hats, etc. They even have an old F1 car on display, with some fake stuff on it for display purposes. Other than that, the staff is very nice a will attend to your questions or whatever. I think this store is barely staying above the water, and could potentially close at any given time. -
Kenny’s 5-star review: Came here earlier this afternoon to smog my car, luckily I did originally find them here on Yelp and saw that they only charged $40 to those who knew about the promotion. I was glad to find this place, because I would have had to travel much farther to get a price this cheap. I'd have to add that it seems kind of pointless for my car to even need a smog check, because the emissions are pretty low on it. Anyhow, I think it's just a way for the state to make money. The place is relatively small but not much space is needed to do a smog check. The garage has it's dyno platform/smog machine here which is an interesting tool to see in action. The waiting room is bigger than I thought it would be and even has a little TV and lots of magazines to pass the wait time. Although this really didn't seem necessary for me because it seemed like I only waited 10 minutes or so before my car was done. And there was even a car getting a smog check when I came in. Overall, a great fast and cheap place if you know to mention their "yelp promotion" or craigslist ad. I will be back and hope to refer others in the area to this place. -

Kenny’s 5-star review: SERVICE CENTER REVIEW: I came here today in the afternoon around 1:30pm for an oil change and free diagnostic of my SRS light as they had offered in their mail advertisement. The lady came out promptly of the service department to write up a work order. I hadn't seen her previously before, but she was nice and had a good attitude. After walking inside to the service desks, she had told me that their was a recall on the ignition switch. I knew their was nothing wrong with mine at the time and I didn't want to wait longer to get that fixed as well. So I decided on just the SRS light check and oil change. I had brought my own oil filter in and she assured I could use it and have the discount on my oil change. My car was probably not taken into the service garage until around 1:50-2pm, seemed like technicians were still busy or on lunch or something. Anyhow, by around 3pm my car was outside in front of the service center and basically done. I walked in and was informed by one of the guys at the service desk that my SRS light came on because of a faulty driver side seat belt push buckle. I was surprised that the light came on because it seemed to work fine... anyhow I was glad it wasn't a major thing with the airbags and started to wonder how much it would cost. But the guy didn't say whether it was covered under some kind of warranty or if they just replaced it as a courtesy. I didn't even know I still had anything on my car still under warranty. So they basically replaced the seat belt buckle free of charge, SO AWESOME. That service alone had somehow made my day, and I ended up only paying for my oil change which came out to $31 and change. I have been coming here for mainly oil changes only for the past ~39K miles or so and never had any significant problems with their service. Although I would recommend that you take your car elsewhere for any other major services or fluid changes because you can probably save some money that way. In any case, my experience today had really warranted a 5 star review.
