Katherine’s 4-star review: A coworker took me here for lunch since our office is around the corner. The girl at the counter told us some of their sandwiches were going to take longer to make, so we just chose one that they had ready. Not a big deal since I'll probably be back again to try more of their items. We grabbed an order slip from the counter by the door. The lunch special is under $10 -- half sandwich, half salad, and a dessert item. Not bad considering how much food we got! I thought it was going to be literally a half of a sandwich made out of two pieces of bread. Nope, it was 2 halves (a whole sandwich)! The halves weren't too fat, so perhaps that's why. It was a lot of food to me though. The bread was like panini bread -- toasted nicely to a crunch. I got the Angus Tri Tip; so good! The half salad I got was the quinoa; wow, I could have had the "half" salad for lunch on its own. For dessert, I chose the fruit salad; they had pastry items on the list. Service is pretty quick and they're nice, it has a cute cafe feel to it as well. If the weather is nice, get it to go -- they give you everything packed up nicely in a box -- and eat outside in the plaza where the Bank of America building is! -
Katherine’s 4-star review: Woohoo! Starbucks near my building that's easily accessible, has great service, and they get the drinks out pretty quickly. It's located inside the BoA building, so most of the customers are business people...there's inevitably a morning rush. My coworkers and I come here often for morning or afternoon coffee breaks. They don't have their own seating, but there are benches along the hallway if you want to stop and do something else after getting coffee. -
Katherine’s 4-star review: During my second week of work, the managers took me and my fellow new hire here for happy hour. We got there towards the beginning of happy hour, so there weren't many people inside. There was a private event going on in a room near the entrance, but we were seated towards the back. The service was good, but like I said there weren't many customers. We ordered drinks first; I couldn't find the name of my drink afterwards...rosemary something (mixed drink). It's not listed on the website...anywho, it was really good and got me a good buzz since the pizza doesn't really fill you up. We got the $1 pizzas ($1 when you buy 2 drinks during happy hour--4-7pm)...they're pretty thin; decent for $1. I'd like to come back to try more food and the wine!

Katherine’s 4-star review: Fisherman's Wharf is such a tourist trap, but at the same time, it's a fun place to be because there are so many shops, restaurants, things to see, and thing to do. You can go to the aqarium, go out to Alcatraz, watch street performers, go shopping, eat seafood, etc. Even though I've done a few of the mentioned above activities, I still like coming here to people watch, eat seafood, and take a walk in the fresh air by the bay. The street performers are pretty neat; there's a really talented artist that uses spray paint to make paintings! Parking is always difficult to find in SF or it's expensive, so it's nice that Fisherman's Wharf is easily accessible by public transportation. Take the bus and you can walk through Fisherman's Wharf and even to other piers. You can also take the cable cars and the stop is only a couple blocks away. -
Katherine’s 4-star review: Came here for lunch for a new hire/transfer lunch and had a really great experience. We had a reservation for a private room upstairs. I must say, the place is pretty nice. When you first walk in, there's a few seats along the bar/counter. Then you hit the stairs, but beyond that there are some tables as well. When you go up, there's a couple more tables and the private dining room that seats 12-15 people comfortably at a long table. You can see the chefs working in the kitchen from the window! Since this was a company lunch, it was paid for. The prices are on the higher end, but seeing as this is FiDi, it probably isn't an issue for its clientele. Would I pay out of pocket to come here again? Yes! I'm curious about the dessert some Yelpers are raving about. I got the pan seared hanger steak, which was really delicious! My first though was, that's it? But then when I started eating it, I got pretty full. Great flavor on the steak. The arugula and squash salad had a nice citrus/vinegar dressing, but not overpowering. Great dish! They were good about refilling our drinks. Our food took a while to get to us, but that's probably because we were a big group and had a lot of orders. They did get everyone's food out within a few minutes of each other though, which is nice so you don't have to sit there and stare at your food waiting for everyone else's to arrive.

Katherine’s 5-star review: Really convenient location just a block away from the SF Caltrain station. Too bad I don't have enough time to run over for my coffee before hopping on the bus to get to work in the morning, otherwise the Iced Mint Mojito might because a bit of a problem for my wallet. I came here with some friends on our SF trip; jumped off Caltrain and skipped over to Philz. When you get there: Step 1: Wait to be called up by a barista to place your order. Step 2: Go to the register to pay Step 3: Move to the side and wait for your barista to call out your drink Step 4: Enjoy! I fell in love with the mint mojito. You might have a swirl the coffee a bit before the mint flavor comes out; mine came out part way through the drink. It's delicious! Not too sweet, not overpowering. I can't wait to come back to try more of their coffees! Man, I love the SF coffee scene, so many places to try out and each has something unique about it! It was a nice sunny day, so there were quite a few people sitting at the tables outside with their dogs. So relaxing... -
Katherine’s 5-star review: My friends and I were in the city over the weekend for a day and were walking through Golden Gate Park; we were on our way out to catch the lightrail when we spied the truck. It was warm, so this was perfect! I just started working in SF about a month ago, so I'm still learning about the SF trucks (I know all the trucks in SoCal). As usual, I pulled out my iPhone to check Yelp. I went with what many people had talked about -- vanilla chocolate twirl dipped in Tcho dark chocolate and sea salt sprinkles. I've never had organic ice cream before. At first I thought this was a tad on the pricey side, but after eating this, I want more! The Tcho chocolate is delicious and it's not a thin layer like I've had on previous dipped ice creams. It's a delicious thick layer of chocolate; I couldn't get the plastic spoon through it, so I just bit the top of my ice cream. Mmmmm I love sea salt with chocolate; it gives a nice kick from the sweetness. You can get it without the sea salt (they ask you). I appreciate their passion for organic/fair trade/locally-sourced desserts. Thanks Twirl and Dip! *They have a permanent location at Golden Gate Park Wednesday-Sunday from 12:30-6pm -
Katherine’s 4-star review: Wow, this park is expansive...you can feel like you're outside of the city without actually leaving the city! I came here with some friends last weekend; we took the train from South Bay and took the lightrail (N Judah) from the station to the park. It's only 2 blocks away from the last stop. You can even walk to the beach if you want to. I saw something about the free shuttle online...when we got the park we weren't sure where to go. We were by the Murphy Windmill, so we decided to walk along Lincoln to get to the visitors center/the Beach Chalet Restaurant. The guy at the front told us the shuttle would go to the parking lot by the beach (other side of the street). The shuttle runs every 15-20 minutes, but we got lucky and flagged down the shuttle just as it was going through the parking lot. We asked the driver to stop at the Rose Garden for us to get off...it doesn't seem like the shuttle has any pre-determined stops. This is kind of odd because it would be nice if people could count on the shuttle to stop for them to get back on after walking around a certain area...the park is huge so you don't want to walk the whole thing. The shuttle is a good idea though, I hope they keep it around. We walked through the Rose Garden, which was beautiful. Then we walked over to the Japanese Tea Garden...alas, you have to pay to go in. We skipped it. There was a bride and groom taking pictures outside...it's a nice and serene area. We walked around the area surrounding the CA Academy of Sciences...you're surrounded by nature and statues of philosophers. We stumbled upon the Twirl and Dip soft serve ice cream truck too! It was a really nice day out, so there were quite a few people in line. Next time, I would drive to the park to spend the whole day there. It doesn't look too difficult to find parking in the park itself. This way you can get out, have a picnic, walk around, and go to the other end of the park easily. We ran out of time to see everything we wanted to see (Bison Paddock, the lakes), so we walked back out to Judah Street to catch the lightrail. Definitely a top free thing to see/do in SF! -
Katherine’s 4-star review: Nice lounge in SF. We got here around 10:30pm and there was no line. I immediately noticed how classy it was inside. Really beautiful with gold and red hues -- dimmed lights as well. There were quite a few tables and plush seating for bottle service upstairs. My friend led me downstairs where the dance floor was. We ordered a drink to sip and we sat down in the area outside the dance floor since the party hadn't really started yet. We finished our drinks and made our way back upstairs where people were just sitting and talking. Upstairs, you can only order the items on the menu. My friend said they're known for their champagne, so we got the peach bellini which was delicious. My friend and I left to go to another place down the street, but we ended up back here again since the dance floor was too packed. We grabbed drinks at the upstairs bar; I got a raspberry cosmo, which was pretty good although strong. We sat down at one of the tables and some guys came up to talk to us; turns out they were with a friend that my friend knew. The two of us went downstairs and found the dance floor really warm; it's kind of like a cave with insufficient ventilation. People here come on too strong as well. When it was just me and my friend, we had guys coming up to us left and right to the point where it was uncomfortable. The guys we talked to earlier in the night found us and we danced with them, whew. If you're looking for a true club atmosphere, this probably isn't the place. This might be one of those places where you grab a few friends, dress up nicely, and sit/talk/meet people. I wasn't a fan of the dance floor. The music wasn't that great either. -
Katherine’s 4-star review: If you're in SF you have to have at least 1 seafood meal. I LOVE this place and I'm dying to go back! It can get crowded, so you may have to wait; don't worry, it's not tiny either, there's quite a few tables. Definitely go for a table near the windows if you can; you get a nice view of the bay with Alcatraz in the background. +Crab chowder: I've never had a crab chowder before, this was so good! Crab meat with a thin soup +Garlic fries: shoestring fries; delicious! Can't get enough of delicious fries! +Clams (might be the Clams Cioppino on the menu...my boyfriend ordered it as "can we get the garlic clams?" haha) - OMG the buttery garlic sauce is AMAZING! Too bad clams are so tiny...I could fill up on just these. We took the bread they gave us before our meal to mop up some of the garlic butter; it's that good! +1/2 crab -- yummmm! I liked the sauce on this crab as well; very well seasoned. You can also take the crab and dip it in the clam's butter garlic sauce. When you're done, you can walk it off along the pier! You might not want to hop on a boat too soon after eating haha. -
Katherine’s 4-star review: There was so much buzz about this place on Yelp that my friend and I decided we had to come here. We were staying in the city for a night not too far away. She was hungover, so we walked hurriedly through the dirty and smelly part of the Tenderloin to get here. We walked in and put our name on the blackboard. The guy at the desk said it was going to take about 40 minutes, so we walked around the corner to Philz Coffee since she was thirsty. We saw someone else walk out with a cup, so we checked Yelp and were excited to see it was a short walk away. The trash can outside the joint had a ton of coffee cups in it, figures... When we came back, we saw the board had been erased, so we asked the guy about it and he said they probably called our name already. He gave us an unkind look and told us to put our name back on the board. That's when I noticed the sign that said "no outside drinks." Geez, no need to be stuck up about it; it was a roughly 40 minute wait and we were back before 40 minutes were up. While we were waiting, we decided what to order so we could put in an order immediately. When we were seated, we got the menus and the person walked away. Our waitress came to take our order within a couple minutes. +Watermelon sweet tea: so refreshing and delicious. I love sweet tea, but watermelon sweet tea is even better! Perfect for summer! +Crawfish beignets: I kind of wanted to try each flavor, but they're known for their crawfish ones, so we went with this. Wow, they're huge! Definitely go with a group of 2-3 people to share these. These are amazing though, but spicy! There's a lot of paprika on the outside, so just make sure not to inhale as you're eating (and choke). I've never had authentic beignets...but I'll just say that these weren't fluffy on the inside like I expected. It was kind of like a shell. We ordered two dishes to share, so we started just taking out the stuffing to eat. +Hangtown Fry: I was wondering what "crispy oyster" would be...It seems they dipped it in a batter and fried it before putting it into the scramble. SO GOOD! Yum! Get the grits and biscuit with this. The grits were smooth and creamy (butter?); I liked it. The biscuit had a light crunch on the outside and was fluffy on the inside; add the butter on top and you're in heaven. -Small location: when people with strollers were coming through, people had to suck in their guts and move their seats in to let people through. I can't wait to come back to try other items on the menu! -
Katherine’s 4-star review: I've walked by the place every morning getting off the bus at Sutter & Kearny and I finally decided to try it out, first just the coffee then I tried their lunch special. Lavender Mint latte -- interesting and different from anything I've tasted. If you're looking for something different and you're not lactose intolerant, try this one! Yum! Just no latte art on to-go coffees :( I came here with a friend since we downloaded a mobile app called GoPago and we had a code for a $10 credit. I had to get a lunch special and coffee! Chicken pesto lunch special -- comes with a side of your choice (salad or soup)! I got the lentil soup, which was pretty good. I enjoyed my sandwich--chicken breast, provolone, roasted red pepper, basil pesto on Focaccia. There was also a small bag of homemade croutons on the side! Toffee Caramel latte: I ordered a small and it was bigger than what I got last time, so I think I may have gotten an upgrade :) I loved it! Not too sweet (I was worried it would be). I like changing up my coffee runs, so I'll have this place in mind for different flavors to try out and mix my routine up! There's a few tables in here, but not too many. After my friend and I got our orders on the other side of the area where the registers are, we decided to take a seat by the window to eat; there were a few other patrons eating in as well, but it wasn't too crowded. -
Katherine’s 5-star review: A real hidden gem; I wouldn't have known about it if one of my coworkers hadn't taken me here for my birthday. It's in a little alley! The guy who works here is really nice. So far I've tried the tiramisu and marshmallow twirl and the vanilla and chocolate twirl. I loved both! It's more on the creamy side...tastes-like-ice-cream-but-made-with-yogurt type of froyo (in contrast to the tart and tangy froyo) haha. Since there's no seating in here, you can grab and go elsewhere or eat as you walk around the area. **Cash only!** -
Katherine’s 4-star review: My friends and I were drinking at Local Edition on Friday and I was getting buzzed from not having eaten anything prior to happy hour. I put out some suggestions on places to go eat. Of course, no one really cares what type of food they want to get. We gradually end up outside. I open the Yelp app on my iPhone and use Monocle to see what's nearby. I point out Super Duper and everyone's down for burgers (we were all curious since it's a burger joint with 4 stars and almost 600 reviews. We walk in and I get the Chipotle vibe. Clean, modern, simple interior with an upstairs balcony. My friend and I run upstairs to grab a table while the others order. I got the mini-combo -- I couldn't believe I only spent ~$10.50 on a burger + garlic fries+ fountain drink. There was an added charge for the garlic fries since the combo comes with just regular fries. I spent LESS on my MEAL than on the DRINK I got at a BAR! Oh the oddities of life. I think they've got the efficiency thing down -- 1 line, 3 registers where you order and they give you a buzzer. When the order is ready, you go pick it up on the other side of the counter. Clear your own table when you're finished eating. The burger is delicious! All natural beef and fresh ingredients. I have a deep appreciation for delicious garlic fries, let alone regular fries! YUM! I guess I have to come back to try the soft serve...I see an a lot of highlights for the word "soft serve." Keep up the super duper job Super Duper! -
Katherine’s 5-star review: Press Club, you have swooped me off my feet and I've fallen in love with you! Convenient location just off of Market and it's spacious, clean, and swanky inside. As you enter, there's usually someone to greet you. As you go downstairs, you'll see a wall of bottles, which is pretty neat...a bit artsy. Inside, it's dim. There's bars with bar seating on both sides of the room. Farther inside there's cushioned chairs/sofas and coffee tables. They could keep the music turned down a few decibels...ok maybe more like 10-20. The music from the DJ gets turned up as the night progresses and I can't hear the conversation with my friend right next to me! I'm no wine connoisseur, but I'm trying to learn and appreciate them more. There are days where you don't feel like going to a regular bar and just want to chill with some friends. Good place for a pre- or post-date too for a couple drinks too. Extensive wine menu with beers as well. 2009 Amycas Brooks from Wilamette Valley, OR -- smelled sweet and had a citrus/sweet taste. Loved this one! Great for those who are like me and don't drink wine often. The Usuals wine flight -- 3 wines: A Cote Chardonnay, Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon, Elizabeth Spencer Syrah. I liked the Chardonnay the best...I might have a thing for white wines...not sure why. They were all great though! -
Katherine’s 4-star review: Convenient location by my office, yay! I am particularly amazed by their cheap coffee! A $2.75 latte? A mocha is a bit over $3. I've only gotten coffee and food items to go; at 8am the lines aren't bad and the service has always been great in my experience. +/- Macarons - I've tried some of their macarons and thought they were just ok +Chocolate Hazelnut Croissant - whoa I've never had a chocolate AND hazelnut croissant. This was good, one of my new favorites. Flaky on the outside with filling on the inside. +Coffee - I've had the latte and mocha before; delicious coffee. Beware, it's rather strong. I was bouncing off the walls at work! -
Katherine’s 3-star review: New bakery? Dessert? Sweets? I'm there! I made the walk over from my office on my lunch break to check this place out. There were only a couple people here when I walked in and the ladies behind the counter were really nice. I got the Tesla tart and a box of 5 macarons. Wow, nice box for macarons; I didn't want to throw it away! Yes, when you work out the pricing for the macarons, there is a surcharge for the set of 5...I guess for the box haha. Tesla tart -- I thought it was a good balance of tartness from the lemon and sweetness. Nice crust. Macarons -- I've had really good macrons in the UK from Laudree and these are far from the real deal unfortunately. The outside was too crisp and there were air pockets. When you bit into them, they crumble. I read prior reviews and the batch I got had a decent amount of ganache in the middle. Just wasn't fond of the texture... I will be back to try the other cakes and tarts they have! Great view of Union Square from the window seat though. -
Katherine’s 4-star review: My friend and I stopped here on our way to an event down the street. We were pleasantly surprised; I wish my office was in SOMA so I could get happy hour here some time... +Pyramid roll (Signature roll) - hamachi, salmon, avocado roll topping with red & green tobiko, delicious! It came out fresh and it filled me up. +Chirashi Don - sushi rice topped with various pieces of sashimi; there were two of each types of fish! +Check in on Yelp for a free hot sake! Awesome. +/- Service was ok; this place is small and there weren't many people here when we first came in; it started filling up during our meal. There was only 1 waitress though, so things were moving a bit slower. -
Katherine’s 4-star review: I didn't know about the Phoenix Hotel or Chambers Eat + Drink before I came here for an End of Summer Pool Party event. I really liked the interior -- swanky with plush couch seating and dim lighting. We had a bartender outside making drinks. Lawn chairs and tables outside, beautiful weather, warm pool, what more can you ask for? -
Katherine’s 4-star review: Small low-key wine bar in San Francisco. I think they own a winery somewhere; they have unbottled wines that are poured straight from the barrels behind the counter. Pretty cool. They have small bar bites, like cheese plate, truffled popcorn (yummy!), and almonds. The space is not that big, but I haven't had any issues with seating the times I came here. +Ambiance +Price - not too expensive +Truffled popcorn

Katherine’s 4-star review: Yummy! The menu has the instructions for ordering and when I was here, there was a worker who was popping outside to answer questions. Yup, there's a line out the door during lunch, but the place is small. I recommend getting food to go since there's limited seating. Walk over to BoA plaza nearby and eat outside in the beautiful weather! Order in 2 steps: 1) Choose Onigilly set (or individual), Rice Bowl, or Salad Bowl 2) Choose your flavors (the stuff that goes inside) FYI - the name of the restaurant is a play on the word "onigiri" for Japanese rice ball :) I got the set of 3: +Soboro -- ginger soy ground angus beef +Spicy Bacon +Spicy Shrimp The set of 3 comes with a salad too! Wasn't expecting that. They're trying to get feedback from customers, so they give you a survey when you pick up your food. Fill it out and bring it back for $2 off your next meal! -
Katherine’s 4-star review: Wow, big portions for the price! I got a wet burrito, so full of carne asada, that it lasted me 2 lunches. Also got a side of chips, all for a little over $10. Not bad. The location is just a bit hidden; you have to take the stairs to get below the pedestrian bridge. -
Katherine’s 4-star review: I was walking by and decided to stop for a coffee. But then I saw the pastries and couldn't resist. I haven't seen a raspberry almond croissant at other cafes, so I got one and a vanilla latte (additional charge for flavors). +/- Prices were average +Vanilla latte +Raspberry almond croissant -- flaky on the outside with almonds and powdered sugar, raspberry filling inside. Wasn't too sweet either. There wasn't a long line when I was there, but it grew; there was only one person at the register and one person making drinks. Most customers did the grab-and-go. I need to try the lunch food! -
Katherine’s 4-star review: This hidden, small restaurant is right around the corner from my office. I don't usually go up Kearny in this direction, but I saw Yelp reviews and decided to try it out. I looked up the menu first online -- you can make your own or choose one of the pre-made ones. I like sushi; a sushi burrito? Even better! I got the Prince Roll -- Salmon + Kanikama + Guacamole + Soy Mayo for $8. YUM! My coworkers saw me eating and asked me where I got my food. I'll have to bring them by some time; I want to try some other rolls as well. I think mine could have used more salmon...it was still good and I still enjoyed it. They have condiments on a table by the door. Don't forget your wasabi and soy sauce! +Prince Roll +Fast, great service -- there was no one in line when I was there +Fresh ingredients +Prices aren't bad You may want to grab-and-go; the place is small with only 3-4 seats. If the weather is nice, walk a block and eat outside at the Bank of America Plaza (benches). -
Katherine’s 4-star review: FYI -- City Target is Target's new concept to cater to city folks. It's not meant to be a big space and for obvious reasons, their offerings are fewer than full Target stores, but that's not to say that they'll switch out different offerings every month. City Target just opened in Downtown LA as well and they'll probably be showing up all over the US. For places like SF and downtown LA where real estate prices are high, this makes sense. It's a place for you to buy the things you need each week or as you need them without having to go very far. +Convenient -- do your shopping for clothes, some food, home items, etc. and you can grab a meal or watch a movie in The Metreon as well. It's nice to see new things being added to revamp The Metreon! And of course, as usual, there's a Starbucks attached to it (also has a separate entrance/exit). +Location -- I like Target's quality, so I'm glad to see there's more shopping options other than Walgreen/CVS down the street. Also great for those staying in the hotels in the area...I tend to forget things when I travel... +Interior -- I liked the "hi San Francisco"...seems that "hi" is a theme entering the store haha. There's also nice views of Yerba Buena Gardens from the toy section. -
Katherine’s 4-star review: My friend and I got a margherita pizza with a salad to go and walked over to Dolores Park to sit on a blanket and eat. They have the perfect location for warm/nice weather picnics! My friend said that she ordered online; by the time we got here, it was ready for us to pick up. +Margherita pizza -- nice crisp crust on the bottom (one of my "musts" for pizza haha). I enjoyed it! +Insalata Tricolore -- mixed greens, shaved cheese, and a lemon vinaigrette. +Portion -- it was a decent amount of food between the two of us. We finished the salad and the slice of pizza that I couldn't finish I handed to a guy who was digging through the trash. +/- Price - not too expensive, but not cheap either heh... -
Katherine’s 3-star review: I'm a fan of the simplicity of the process -- you walk in, take a look at the menu (they have pictures placed around the small space) and you just grab what you want, pay, and go. I had no idea what to do when I first walked in, but there were a couple other people inside. If you walk a few feet forward when you walk in, along the right side there's a fridge with the sushi items. Along the opposite wall is the heated items in a heated area (bento boxes, etc.). I'm not sure that they placed everything in an intuitive place though. Your first thought would be go walk to the counter in front of you right? That's just where the desserts are. The register is behind you when you walk inside haha. -Bento Box #2 -- like I said above, the hot food items are sitting in a heated area. The food isn't made to order, so it's not fresh. It doesn't make for the best fried fish or beef. I'm not going to recommend the hot food items. I'll probaby go for the sushi next time. Lesson learned. -Since the hot food isn't made to order, I can't really justify spending $8 again on a bento box. +Green tea mango mochi -- this was $3.50, but it's rather large. It's also one of the more complex mochis I've had. The outer layer is green tea, then there's red bean, and inside of that is mango! Yum! +Simple, fast process and service -
Katherine’s 4-star review: Having a kiosk is a smart idea for a small private bakery. Thank you for being located right across the street from my building...actually, this depends...sometimes I have to restrain myself... +Red velvet cupcake - moist and a good size so that I'm not on a sugar rush at work +Lavender Sea Salt Shortbread cookies - yum! I didn't think lavender would taste good...lavender makes me think of soap, but these were good with the aromatic flavor +Chocolate Hazelnut Shortbread cookies -
Katherine’s 5-star review: I fell in love with this place! It's a bit of a walk away from my office, but I love having the excuse to get out of the office. The space is modern and simple with a pop up shop (Taylor Stitch). The items are expensive. But I have my eyes on the food and coffee. BLUE BOTTLE COFFEE!!!! Now I don't have to go all the way over to Ferry Building! I love that they have a select number of items on the menu (do what you do well) and they rotate food offerings every 2 weeks. +Chef's Grilled Cheese (panini) -- apple-wood smoke bacon, Gruyere, garlic aoli, grilled radicchio, balsamic reduction. Comes with a small container of their quinoa. Wow! Burst of flavors...simply amazing. I don't believe I've had radicchio before this either...interesting. +Latte -- awwww, latte art on my to-go coffee! I'm a sucker for latte art. The latte was amazing without saying. I was having a sleepy morning and as I was waiting, the barista made small talk with me. +Service -- great! The first time I was here, the guy in front of my couldn't decide what to get. The cashier helped him out and recommended the Chef's Grilled Cheese (I changed my mind to get it too). +They're green! The cups are eco-friendly and they use an iPad for card orders, so you sign on the screen and can have the receipt emailed to you (check the box to email the receipt and uncheck the "print:" box!) :) There's a good number of tables inside and a couple outside as well for those sunny days. People come here to study too. Grab a friend and check this place out! -
Katherine’s 4-star review: My experience here may be a bit different. I was here for a private event with a group. We walked in and it was dim; the interior is beautiful with gold cranes danging from the ceiling above the bar. There's 2 side rooms that shoot off from the bar. One of those is the main dance room and there's a stand for the DJ. The walls were lit up blue by project lights. Kind of felt like Little Mermaid...under the sea. The event was for Halloween, so they had a special drink menu -- a lychee vodka (the lychee looked like an eyeball), chocolate mint soju, and sangria (in a black cauldron with dry ice!). The bartenders were great and I had a pretty good night with some friends...although the DJ was terrible. Oh well.
