Kristen’s 5-star review: Freaking fantastic! I have not been disappointed with anything. The service can be slow, I'm guessing it is in part because there seems to often be 1 server that may or may not also be the chef? But it is well worth the wait, and the owner? is nice and knows his stuff. Order an appetizer and it will come out much quicker than the entrees so you don't starve to death while waiting. I am currently attempting to go through the menu and try a new item every time I go. I may have to update this if I have any favorites, but as of right now everything has been a winner. -
Kristen’s 5-star review: Yay! Toyose is amazing! This place is my favorite party dinner place in the city right now. I came here on my birthday with 5 people and we had such an awesome time! We ordered sooooooooooooooooooooo much food and it was all so great. The standouts were the bulgogi, potatoe pancakes, kimchi fried rice, and the soju! I absolutely love the nautical, garage, just about clausterphobic feel of this place. It made it so cozy and fun. The table behind us was screaming around 8 oclock and which set us into a competition and by 10pm the whole restaurant was practically screaming with laughter. Such good vibes here. And I just have to comment on how awesome the push buttons were for service. It took a lot of self control not to push the damn thing just for fun! Our server was also a great sport and was in good spirits and very helpful to all of our questions. Toyose thanks for such a great Birthday bash and I will be back soon since I live super close! Fun times ahead.

Kristen’s 5-star review: I have to change my mind about my starage on this one. You are moving on up from 4 stars to 5 in my book! Tart to Tart on Irving holds a warm place in my heart. I have never remotely had any kind of bad experience or negative encounter at this place. Yes I keep going for my chocolate and sweets fix! I know a place is good when I actually venture out of my chocoholicness and get something different and am still wowed. I never knew I liked tarts. But I do now! Espresso at 1am with some chocolate chip cookies? Yes please! The owners crack me up. They have a great sense of humor and really know customer service! I always leave satisfied. Keep up the good sweets : ) P.S. Just in case you want to know my favorite favs here: Chocolate Overkill cake (WOW) and Chocolate Chip Cookies! -
Kristen’s 5-star review: I keep coming back. It keeps impressing me. The worst thing I have to say about this place is I had the unfortunate rare miss on my breaky sandwich one day; limp sad tiny bacon, burnt eggs, unmelted cheese, and dry biscuit. But that was maybe one out of dare I say twenty or so breakfast sandwiches I have experienced. Don't judge me people, yes I share with my friends too so it's not just all me eating breaky sammies all day every day!! Aside from this one miss I feel like I really lucked out and had an amazing experience that made up for that one sad sandwich. Here it goes....One day, I asked if they had cinnamon buns because I didn't see any in the happy pastry window. The friendly counter dude was like Oh they are baking right now and should be done in TWO minutes. Exciting. Basically. I was so lucky I got my fresh scalding hot amazing sugary happy goodness cinnamon bun and the bf and I got DOWN (ahem, on the cinnamon bun). It was probably one of the best things that has ever happened to me : ) really. It was that awesome. And.... one time i ventured off of my sweet tooth and tried the potato leek bacon quiche. It was also absolutely killer! I think I should venture out and try more of their savory dishes in the future. To sum all of this up. I love this place. It makes me feel warm and happy. I still religiously go for the brownie which fits to my brownie heaven taste buds to the tee. I also never stray far from the donut muffin. I have heard other people rag on this little guy but for some reason that damned muffin of donut REALLY gets me! Maybe I should add that I'm not a fan of raised donuts. I like them cake donuts. So this is probably why I am possibly fanatical about the donut muffin. All and all. Thank you Devil's Teeth for being there and doing a fabulous job. The owner really has a great sugar thumb. -
Kristen’s 5-star review: Wow I can't believe I haven't written a review about this place yet! Lucky for me this is my trusty neighborhood service station and I live pretty darned close so I get to walk me and my dog home or around GGP while waiting for my car. The people who work here are so friendly, trustworthy, and efficient. They always get my car in and out as fast as can be. I still call around and get quotes from other places to make sure I'm getting the best deal (seeing as how I am NOT super rich, yet!) and Sunset 76 beats everyone's prices every single time! Amazing! I don't know how they do it but they really deserve all of their five star reviews. I also like to take advantage of the Yelp promotions they have going on :) I'm so smart and thrifty for going to these guys! -
Kristen’s 4-star review: Cool. We went here this morning. This place is cute and very casual. It is a great spot for mid afternoon brunch and to meet some fellow mellow Sunset folk! Next time I'm going for the bottomless mimosa : ) We tried the chicken and waffles and burgers. Both were winners and hit the spot. Apparently everything here is organic natural hippy dippy food and that is great by me! -
Kristen’s 4-star review: Nice. Not a dive bar. Dog friendly and accepts credit cards, plus and plus. The staff is friendly and there was a nice diversity of patrons who did not do the "why the hell are YOU in my bar" stare when you walk in! I will have to go back to try some steaks and trivia. But for the meantime I'm always happy to find a bar that is clean, has a nice environment, and has room to find a table with some friends. P.S. I hate cigarette smoke, and this is a for real NO SMOKING bar : ) -
Kristen’s 4-star review: I don't get why there seem to be so many recent bad reviews? I really love this place. I often get pizzas from here either delivered, dine in, or a single slice to eat waiting for the train. I have not had one bad pizza! My favorite is sausage, bell peppers, and onion. It is always amazing and I think their sausage is some of the best I've had in this city. I mean they will make you your very own fresh slice baked to order and everything!! SOoooooooooooooo Delicious! Can I just talk about their lasagna for a minute? Oh Milano lasagna.......... oh so good and cheesalicious and just wow. The lasagna is to die for! One order was enough to feed me THREE times it was so big! It was so fresh and all the ingredients were perfect together. I have had it with meat and without meat and both are amazing in their own way. I have always had good service here too when I sit down at the tables. I will say that the pizza makers often sub in as the front counter guys and may I just boldly guess that most pizza makers, and pizza delivery guys, may very well be some of the biggest stoners out there! So expect pizza dudes to be a little flaky in the customer service and fast action areas ( i mean they are pizza dudes!!!!) and you will not be so disappointed. Plus good food often takes time. So be patient little ones and good things will come! -
Kristen’s 4-star review: I think my review is only for the popcorn chicken because I am just not that into milk tea and tapioca. So. That popcorn chicken sure is good! I fight my way through the high school kids to order my popcorn chicken which is most, flavorful, spicy and yum. Super random place for a random take out item. But I do love fried chicken! -
Kristen’s 4-star review: Man this place is good. Super cheap bbq goodness. Yes yes yes, agreed, the roast duck is killer. The sticky fried rice is amazing. They have the BEST green beans I may have ever had in my life, somehow they are always cooked perfectly! Yes they probably use a large amount of MSG, but whatever, doesn't everyone know MSG tastes like heaven???? The inside is not so spotless, and the staff does not have the most clear English, but man do they do bbq right. They also have an incredibly efficient and easy take-out system. Wait in the long line that runs out into the street corner and you will be in and out within five minutes to enjoy your food from the comfort of your own home -
Kristen’s 4-star review: Nice spot. Great for getting together with friends for tacos and beers, or shots of Jameson if you so desire because they have a full bar! This place is a fun-time sports, food, games, and drinks hang out place. The tacos were solid. I'm a fan of the shrimp taco, Nick's crispy taco style. Yeah, add me some deep fried crunch to it. Yup. Good times. On a side note. I went around 10:30 on a Friday night and there were happy children hanging out playing games and having fun while their parents appeared to be enjoying some Friday night downtime! Totally child appropriate bar/restaurant! -

Kristen’s 4-star review: I was hesitant to come here. I was pleasantly surprised! I've been here twice now and both times we did not have issues with waiting forever for a table and they even have a cool call in your name to be put on the list kind of reservation system. First time I came was for dinner and the second time I came with my parents for brunch. It is a challenge to find a place that suits both my parents and my picky eating habits. Shockingly we all walked away happy! Breakfast and dinner were all great ( of course I stole bites of my parents and boyfriends food, I can't let people have all the fun without me ) and the service was fabulous. I love the upstairs patio dining area, really fun design of space! I will come back here again and again.
