Secureway Glass is awesome!
I got my very 1st rock chip on my windshield last Wednesday, March 8, 2017, not bad for driving for 20yrs. I avoid trucks on the freeway, Vehicles w/ a spare tire in the back, trucks w/o mudguards, things still happen. At least I am alive & ticking. Any day above ground is a good day!
I went on yelp* to check out Safelite. I remember Secureway Glass when I use to work for Jason Gee Farmers Insurance. So I check them out too! Solid Reviews!
Fast forward...Friday, March 10, 2017, gave Secureway a call, was asked if I can be on hold, no problem. 5mins nothing yet, no big deal, not going to sweet. I was nearby so I dropped in & see if they can see me. Not only was Nelson Chen able to see me w/o Appt, he said he can actually handle it right now, would take 30-45mins. I was actually amazed since they are so busy.
Nelson let me know after the repair, it may still show, I wasn't shocked cuz it's a pretty big chip. I asked if a resin can be applied to avoid it from spreading, he said that's the whole goal.
I agreed to the fix, I originally heard $7 and I was thinking no way! How can you make a profit? When he wrote up the Repair Order, said $70, no big deal, I KNEW there's no way it can be $7, if there was, I would tip him $63 haha ;) Before they started the repair, I asked him if it's worth fixing or replacing. He said fix it, cost less and if it does spread, we will apply the $70 to the new Glass.
Man...I love this guy! Not only is he Professional & Kind, He's like an Advisor, he's not there just trying to make money off you. He suggest what he would do.
So repairs were done, Nelson gave me a call (I still don't know how they got this phone number that's so awesome) saw the repair...it blew me away! Didn't know it would turn out so great! I'll show before & after pictures later.
