Richard’s 4-star review: I can't hear a goddamn word at work today. I've never had such a horrible ringing in my ear for so long as right now, and I'm wondering if I'll ever be able to hear normal again. The Shrimp Mofongo was delicious, and they have hookah pipes to smoke, which was a surprising bonus. They even had flan, at the request of my girlfriend. She was extremely happy about that. The 8 piece band was great, and they played a faster type of meringue, which you could really get into. It took a while to get the check, and they brought out a beer I didn't ask for, maybe all the communication errors were due to the fact that they play the music at a deafening level I'm bringing earplugs next time. -
Richard’s 4-star review: The coconut crusted fish and rice was perfect. It was so good, we ate everything and didn't leave any leftovers even though the portion large. The Mamajuana mojito is also a wonderful drink and was prepared very well. Just one sneaks up on you and has you feeling real good. Yucca fries were plentiful and marvelous. The live music was also very entertaining. I would love to come here more often and with maybe another couple to really have good times with. -
Richard’s 4-star review: This trendy Latin restaurant/bar had a delicious $10 margarita, and the football game on for me on a Sunday night. I would take a date here, but ask them to lower the music a bit if there is no dancing. It was kind of loud for dinner. It must be popping on the weekends, its a very slick looking place. -
Richard’s 5-star review: This place is cool. The concept works! The girls were pretty, very nice, and diverse too. They had nice bodies, weren't too shy and worked it for me even though the place was near empty. The drink specials are also insane. I will be coming back soon.

Richard’s 4-star review: Nice portion of skirt steak and salmon on their opening night. The staff was aiming to please, and they definitely did. This place has the potential to be very special. They of course had some jitters and nervousness on their side because it was their first night but the food was awesome. My steak was alittle raw, but I cooked it thoroughly the next morning and it was divine. This may be a weird review, but I couldn't wait to get this place on yelp. I hope they succeed. They already have begun starting to change the look of this neighborhood. -
Richard’s 4-star review: A much better place than the asian liquor shop on Nagle, They have a nice variety of wines and spirits packed into their space. I like the bargain barrels, with some really good wine, I got a HRM Rex Goliath Giant 47 Pound Rooster Cabarnet Sauvignon for $5, and three bottles of arbor mist for $10. Score! -
Richard’s 5-star review: I walked through this park on a beautiful sunny Sunday, and I have to say, is one of the nicest places on the entire island of Manhattan. I walked around a little and then walked around the tip of the island, under the bridge and almost wandered up on the bridge to cross it, but turned back and headed back around. I came in from the 218th st entrance, and saw lots of little league-rs, people BBQing without consequence, and Frisbee teams practicing. It was so peaceful and nice. The walk around tip through the woods was star though, You got gorgeous views of jersey, the Bronx and the Hudson river. I cant wait to come back again. -
Richard’s 4-star review: Yes I can agree this food was spectacular. The mofungo was delicious, and came with a sauce that was to die for. I also tried the yellow rice with shrimp that was also yummy. I would love to try a few other things off the menu. I cant wait. Only gripe was the sangria, which was alittle too sweet and tasted like Hi-C. -
Richard’s 5-star review: For $14 I got a gourmet piece of red snapper with a nice tomato sauce, white rice on the side and beans on the side also. Alot of food. Soooo good. This place kicked ass. Its also open 24 hours I understand. -
Richard’s 5-star review: I came to this park early on Easter Sunday for a little stroll/exercise, and it was empty except for one person and a forest full of creatures. Among the blossoming trees and flowers were cardinals, woodpeckers, hawks, little bright yellow birds, snakes, snails and squirrels. It really was a beautiful day. -
Richard’s 3-star review: There are two supermarkets around here, This one and Dan's a block away. I think I like Dan's better just because it seems cleaner, but both are just ok. They both have a nice fish market though. Plenty of Spanish products and Chicken Gizz. -
Richard’s 1-star review: They sold me a defective, flat bottle of Cooks champagne and would not give me an exchange or refund even though I told them I would be giving them repeat business. It was the wife, not the husband who put her foot down. I told them to go fuck themselves.

Richard’s 4-star review: Cafe con Leche.... yum! I kept calling them lattes, until another customer said, "that's Dominican coffee", to which I replied, "It looks like espresso and milk to me. Cafe con Leche?" "Yes Cafe con leche" Nice lady behind counter: "No sugar?" I cant wait for the next one and a baguette! -
Richard’s 4-star review: I came for a light breakfast and got a pressed roll with American cheese and a cafe con leche. Delicioso. I wish I would have known about the other breakfast platters they were whipping up for those in the know, they had nice pieces of sausage and a mountain of delicious looking breakfast items. The decor is pleasant and fun in here, has a put together look like alot of trendy downtown and out of state places. Extremely friendly customer service, I would like to come back and order something alittle more interesting next time because I know they make it.
