Beach fees? Parking fees?

There's no fee to get into the beach. Parking is a major headache - either go very very early for a parking spot on the street or park like a few blocks away! We found parking by B108 2 blocks away around 10:30am. That's considered late apparently! Goodluck!

I would say the lower numbered streets have less people, but likely less conveniences. The higher numbered streets are more crowded because of the restaurants, transportation, and facilities.
Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are not allowed on the boardwalk or sands from Memorial Day Weekend Through Labor Day.

I don't remember see any rental shops. But there is a CVS nearby that sells all your beach needs. It's about a 10 minute walking distance.

Asked by Rashida J.Rockaway beach is nice. If you live in Manhattan there's a $2.75 ferry taken at seaport that goes straight to Rockaway beach. It's a 10 minute walk after getting off the ferry.
