If I'm at the metal detectors waiting line, does it mean we have to remove shoes before, putting them back on? I mean, I recently got a new pair of hands free slip ins from Skechers and not worrying about tying them up.

Your slip ins are perfect for TSA inspections! You'll slip them off and put them in a tray for the xray scanner. Then, you'll be checked. You'll get your slip ins back and off you go!

Yes, unless you are a TSA pre-check.

Yes, you'll need to take off your shoes and put them in a bin. Then after you walk through, you'll put them back on.

Unless you have TSA pre-check, you will need to remove your shoes. This is SOP for all US airports.

Take off your shoes before you go through the TSA line unless you have Pre-check.
