Hi Andrew, great question! After scheduling your installation, we send our in-house technicians to perform the work, which typically takes between 3-6 hours. All installations are completed same day and we do our best to minimize disruptions to water use in the home. Depends on your setup. I bought a Kinetico unit in 2006 and I think it is great. However, when it was installed, it was via a third-party contractor and he and his helper were total idiots. I had to repair the plumbing he installed because it leaked. I was an HVAC contractor in VA for several years, and I had the tools to repair it, so I did it myself and sent a photo of the plumbing and his unacceptable work to Kinetico. It's several hours total....plumbing in the garage part takes a few hours and another 2 or so for the RO system under the sink...
