"Came by the other day and it was a decent experience. The Fillmore Street Annex Garage is within Japantown and is next to the main SFMTA garage. Upon entering, the cameras capture license plates and print them on the ticket. Weekday afternoon rates were $3/hr before 6 pm and $2/hr after 6 pm. The drive lanes along with parking spaces are definitely compact. It definitely helps to drive a compact car. There is a pay station that takes credit cards and cash before returning to your car. The exit ramp is tricky as the ticket station is on an incline which is a test of one's stick driving skills ;)"
