  1. Not all you can eat, but inexpensive. Brennan's in Berkeley.

The Dump is closed on Thanksgiving; don't just dump your trash down a cliff.

I was at Tommy's a few Months ago. Still liked it.

  2. I'm at Tommy's almost every week. You'd think I'd try something beyond brisket, corned beef or pastrami - yet that's the bomb. My family comes out, my dad - always the turkey plate, loves that almost thanksgiving year round.

I tried to check if the Harry's Hofbrau in San Leandro is open Thanksgiving, but they did not pay their domain bill.

It's reasonably priced, and they serve up a boatload of turkey each year.

Harry's Hofbrau in San Leandro is a value - but expect to wait in line for at least 30 min to get your meal.
Tommy's Joynt in the city is also great, but their dinner service doesn't begin until 5-ish, and you will be in line for at least an hour.

  4. ^ Nope Tommy's opens early. I work nearby, so even at 6am you can smell the meats roasting. You can order a full dinner for $200 to feed 12. I'll post the pic now.

If you're willing and able to head down to Monterey for Thanksgiving, this looks like a good option, if there are any reservations left. The hotel itself is having the expensive version of the huge turkey day buffet. But the brewpub is offering plates with all the fixings for a much more reasonable price.

Here's the link for full buffet. For me, it's expensive and I can never eat enough in one sitting to justify the price. But I guess it's also the whole experience that could be fun.

Right, Ruby?! If I'm gonna eat that much food, it better be in the comfort of my own home where I can lay down afterward, with sweats on preferably ;)

EXACTLY! And maybe go for 2nds an hour later, but I don't want to sit somewhere in
public and feel like I have to cram my face to get my money's worth..HA.
