Yeah, I remember my friend's parents had a Datsun B-210. That was the budget/economy car of the 70s.

It's probably your rotors or your belts need to be replaced.

My third car was a Datsun Maxima WAGON! What a great car! I loved that thing. Such luxury! Some idiot T-boned me in Baltimore though :-(
My second was a Datsun B-210 hatchback - light as a feather and really fun to drive! Unfortunately, it also ended up as the the victim of a T-boning, also in Baltimore but this time it was the T-boner (deaf woman ran a light).
Lot'sa T-boning going on in Charm City!

Does it make noise only or does the car rattle a bit at that point?

If it's a vibration that's RPM specific it could be an issue with a motor mount, among other things (like lack of oil causing rod bearing failure, etc). Take it to a mechanic.

If you can't hear the noise from inside roll up your windows, turn up your radio or pretend it's a diesel engine...LOL.
It is time to support your local mechanic  probably an easy fix. But try to spray some belt dressing first it's about $3 a can.

It could be a lot of different problems.  That is a vague description.  Go to Auto Zone they diagnose check engine lights for free.  If no light pay 20.-30. for a mechanic diagnose it.

it's probably just the body in the trunk.

Very vague description. First things first...where is the noise coming from LOL?  And where do you live...me and my friends can find the problem and fix it.
