Del Valle in Livermore is cool. I just went there a few weekends ago. But the camp grounds to the water is kind of far to walk so you would have to drive (about a 5 min drive).
There's boat, pontoon & kayak rentals. And yes, free hot showers (but you have to hold down the shower button). The fishing is decent. 5 people caught fishes within 6 hours.
