1. This has been a headache for over 4 months. I need my Yakima rack key copied. Rack and road sells keys but doesn't have the key I need. So they gave me a blank. Basic places like home depot, Lowes, Ace, they can only cut keys that they have blanks. Every locksmith near me has hours more narrow than my work hours - if I can get them to answer the phone. Do you know of any currently in business locksmiths with a storefront in the Citrus Heights/Fair Oaks area? If close enough, I'll rush on lunch. Otherwise, I'm looking for a business open until about 6:00 at least once per week. Or weekends. I can't believe how difficult this task has proven to be for me. Thanks in advance.

  2. Thanks, Bridget. Although that's the one that I had expected to patronize, and when I called at 5:20 earlier this week, an answering machine came on that they're closed indefinitely. I had reached him mid-day a couple of Saturdays ago. That one is no dice.

  3. I use Thule rack systems and have found it easier to order precut keys directly. It has never been a hassle and they get them to me quickly at nominal expense.

  4. Thank you, David. I believe that I need to look into this route at this point.
