DO NOT Purchase a LGG Refrigerator. Horrible customer service. My $2,500 fridge(model # LFXC24726S/02 is only 9 mos old and it isn't working. After being on hold several times, on 9-15-16 the service dept told me they would order parts and send a technician in 2 days. No one ever called, so I called them. They told me I would have a technician on Sept 29th come to my house.I can't wait 14 days to have my fridge fixed. So I had Vladimir Appliance 911 come out and diagnose the problem.  The product needs a compressor, an evaporator fan, a filter dryer and a SCC. Now LGG says they can't have this Co fix my fridge cause they aren't an authorized dealer. This company is a scam. Don't ever buy from LGG and tell your friends.

You should have bought genuine LG instead

That can't possibly be the only service provider they contract with, did you tell them you wanted a different one?

Also who sold it to you? Lowes, Home Depot? call them.
Call your charge card company if you used a major card, they often have protections that you never think of.
Maybe they will help you go with the place you found.

LG is a basically good brand.

It's not normal to make a customer wait two weeks for a fridge repair. A fridge repair should be carried out in 24 hours. I would raise the issue to LG's district manager, and to the head of LG America, if that does not prove successful. And ask them who will pay for the $165 worth of meat that has now thawed and spoiled.
