What's up with the influx of dating threads lately people?

    It just seems like a rash of new users/trolls/alter egos have littered Yelp talk with dating threads. It's such a depressing topic that I don't want to even think about. I have nothing more to add. Feel free to hypothese, criticize or flame me.

    I think Loli's answer is the most tangible one. The whole dating thing to me is an emotional and mental drain. I'll just let time run its course.
