    Can anyone please recommend a good place to have my wedding dress dry cleaned and preserved?

    The dress is 3 layers with a top chiffon material and has chiffon floral embellishments along the shoulder. I'd like it to be taken care of pretty delicately and done with chemicals that don't smell terribly toxic.

    If you have suggestions of great places to try or places to avoid they are really appreciated. I live in San Francisco so someplace near the mission would be great, but I would go anywhere.

    No matter what anyone tells you do not go to Peninou.  People seem to have the false impression that place is some kind of luxury dry cleaner to the stars.  I typically send my customers to Crystal Cleaners or Jindi's.   The latter is known for handling wedding dresses with care.

    the designer of my dress suggested alex's in San Francisco.  Check on AmyKuschel.com. they have a page where they have all the information about cleaners.
