I heard it, but I want to confirm that it's true... Are there only two car wash's in Oakland? One on Broadway and one on High St? I must know because my car is so dirty it's going to run away from me and never let me drive again.

No,  there is one on San Pablo near 580,  one on Telegraph next to Pet food express,  one on 27th street between Broadway and Telegraph.  My favorite is the one on 40th and Broadway,  $19 and they do the whole thing while you wait.

I should also clarify that I'm looking for the pay yer $5~8 bucks and drive it thru yourself type car washes. You know the kind where you don't care if it eats your antenna, license plate, and or curb feelers. I got one of those ubiquitous 90's Japanese cars that don't need special washing like many of these popular fancy German cars do.

I like hitting up the solar car (wash-it-yourself place) wash on Mac Arthur. Otherwise, I use the drive thru wash at the Valero (?) in Hayward.

Try the Chinese guys at mickeys on 5th ave and e.12th. $20 for inside/outside. They are professional and fast. Been coming here for the last 10 years.
