    It's focused on the SF area and it's communities.
    It stated Treasure Island was one of the least hours of sleep,  while the Marin / Sonoma counties had more sleep.

    I got 3 hours, then furbaby woke me up as neighbors son was leaving for work, then went back for close to 2.5 hours of shallow sleep. So I'm a bit draggy

    I got 6 hours which appears to be my new norm. It use to be 4 or 5 but the cancer seems to really wear me out. The pain killer meds (not that anything really works all that well) wear off after 6 hours though and then I am in too much pain.

    I think 6 hours is my max. I wish it was 6 hours straight, but it's not.
    I saw this sound machine in those TV shopping channels and was seriously thinking of buying one.
    Right now, I use Alexa, but that white noise machine had the changing night light.

    I had a terrible night. I think maybe 3 hours of quality sleep but after that it was super light sleep for maybe 2.5 hours. Not sure if the skunks or cats woke my furbaby and I just heard whining all night. It's hard to sleep when whining is in the air. My instinct is to find out if my furbaby is in need or pain.

    I'm thinking of a carb-full type dinner so I can feel full and catch some zzzzz's

    I on the hand like ambient light. If I sleep in the living room, at least my air purifier has ambient blue night light plus the white noise can help. Camping is when it's complete darkness and silent (except for natures)

    There was a study that said people are getting less sleep due to the many electronics being used.   The Monitor,  Phone and Rooms are lit by the new LEDs.  Most white LEDs have a blue or UV light spectrum or just a bright white setting.   As we all know sunset is a warm  near red spectrum.  Your brain thinks it is  still daylight and not setting your brain into sleep mode till 2 AM..   suppresses melatonin production,   Some items can adjust to lower the blue light and may help you sleep   or It may be worth a try to use the phone or computer less at night. before sleep.

    As a kid, my dad would use red bulbs as my night stand lamp lights.
    I think it does set the stage for a better sleep, imo.  Sadly I know of ppl who grab for the melatonin and wonder why it doesn't work eventually, so they keep taking more each week. I read on a bottle that  it Should not be taken more than 2 months.

    Most people don't have availability to my pills and I hope they never do since you pretty much have to be terminally ill to get them. That being said, the pills don't make it hard but fortunately there is Viagra which allows a good banging followed by a night of rest.
