So the fan of our heater/ac decided to conk out last night.  Does anyone know of a good heater/ac repair person/place that:
1.  won't try to sell me a new unit
2.  won't cost an arm and a leg
3.  is trustworthy

?

We used Clarke and Rush, but we needed a new central heat and A/C system installed.  They didn't try to upsell us, and they did good work.

I really recommend Air Temperature Control in Gold River.  

We have had heat intermittent heat issues for the last month and they have been very accommodating in stopping by on several occasions until we finally got a resolution this week.  The logic board went out and is pretty expensive but I trust their service and prices whole-heartedly.  They insisted on not fixing anything and guessing on what might be the problem until they could tell what truly failed.  And I really appreciate them for that...

In the past we've had nothing but problems with our Beutler System and have had Beutler out several times but to no avail.  We have even used Clark and Rush but they are entirely too expensive.  This winter we had a new furnace and air conditioner installed for a great price and unbeatable service.  They have even come out this week free of charge to do a "pre-season tune-up" on the air-conditioner.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Our air went out on Friday! Man, this was not the weekend to have that happen. We called around and found that everyone and their cousin's air had gone out over the weekend b/c the only time we got from everyone was THURSDAY!!! When it hit 88 degrees in the house on Sat. we started getting desperate. I remembered that a friend of mine's g-pa did heating and air. Called him and got service within an hour. Thank god it was only a part that went out. Thank you Culbertson Heat & Air for fixing our problem. I highly suggest them. It wasn't just because of who we knew...Gary Culbertson is just an honest down to earth guy!

how much does a new HVAC cost? i need one of those

I'm shopping for a new HVAC system and I've had three companies come to the house to give me a quote.  The problem is, they ALL seem competent and reputable.  The price quotes are comparable.  I've done as much research as I can, so now I could use some personal recommendations.  Help!
