    Does anyone know of a good/great auto repair shop(whether it's a dealer or independent) with decent prices in san francisco to san mateo?  It appears most or all dealerships are very bad and likewise for the independent ones.  I need my tires rotated/balanced and need the cost.

    Honestly, Wal-mart is as cheap as you can get (though you may have to wait an hour). Rotating tires you can do yourself with the equipped jack, but balancing you can have any tire shop do. You don't need to go to Honda for that.

    Rotating/balancing tires doesn't require a specialty shop. For repairs you can contact Acutech Auto Repair in SSF. Ask for Niki, he's the owner, while we are not close friends I have known him for over 13 years. I refer people at my employer there and have received good feedback, if I ever receive negative feedback I would call him on it and make sure he takes care of it. I would stop referring anyone to him if they didn't take care of people I send. I have no business relationship with this place nor do I receive any compensation, he's a good guy and a races Honda/Acura (road courses/autocross).

    I go to 76 on bay and taylor Philip is very honest and friendly, never did me wrong you also drop you car off 24 hrs a day, and pick it up 24hr a day .
