    Hey guys,

I'm moving out at the end of hte month and I just need to move a couple things that won't take more than 2 hours. Unfortunately, most places have minimums of 3 or 4 hours of moving.  Do any of you know of any reliable professional movers who don't have hourly minimums?

Honestly-- if you're willing to look for it-- I would go the Craigslist route.  It's usually construction workers, etc who are looking for some extra dough on the side and have the strength, another person and a truck to take care of you right.

    I haven't had a bad experience yet.

    Good luck!

Go to any of the Home Depots and pick up some day laborers. We had two guys help us move our house (it was already in boxes) and between 4 of us it was done in an hour and a half, we gave them $20 apiece I think and some sodie pop.

I've hired the day laborers from Home Depot and I definitely recommend it. They work hard and want to impress you to make good money. You can pay them $10-$15/hour and they'll be happy. Then just drop them off back where you picked them up. I give them food and drinks as well.
