i know, there are not that many hot days in sf and why would i need an air conditioner, right?

i am wondering if anyone can please lead me towards a good electrician who is experienced with air conditioning?

i have an old air conditioner at my shop, it was bought at sears (not by me, by the prior owner) and it is lame.
we need the cool air to keep our clients comfortable in our hot little store, so i need some help.

i looked at the reviews for some of the listings and it looked grim.

by chance do you know someone who would be good to consult with about fixing this thing? or getting a new one installed?
our space is strange, so when sears came out to "look" at it....they shook their heads and left.

    thanks !!

our space is strange because there are no windows that open. the only windows are up really high (but they do not open either) and that is where the old a/c is installed. we have a door, but even if it is open there are no other windows so zero cross breeze. we cant really blast a fan cause its a hair salon and hair will all over the place. believe me, if it was as easy as opening the windows and enjoying the breeze we would be golden.

you really need ventillation, especially if it is a hair salon.  is there any possiblity you could have windows installed?

This company, based on the reviews seems pretty good  associatedhtg.com

I do not have a personal recommendation, but if I where in your situation, this is who I could call.

thanks, yasmine, i will give them a call.....and yeah, ventilation is highly under-rated. never underestimate the importance of the cross breeze.
