I don't mean hours, I mean # of years.....I'm trying to find the oldest game in the Bay Area (yeah, Dubjive, I did post this earlier but it got buried really quickly and I only got one response and it wasn't serious...)

The games at James Lick are/were perhaps the longest running in terms of some thread of continuity.  Meaning some of the same people have been showing up for 25 years or so. Recently, the Lick thing has faded away. Some of the players have turned up at Edison (the legendary Sam Jones for example).
The Marina gets old when you get old (like 30) and people move on. You can only hack that atitude for so long.
I also have talked to some guy who plays "geezer-ball" in Chinatown. (I'm close to checking it out) I'm not sure if it is longevity thing, or just geezers seeking geezers for fun and the sacrament of "ten sweaty men and the golden orb"

Anyone know how long those games have been going on? (Rucker Park, Mosswood, etc....)? I'm writing a story on a game that has been going on for 32 years; I haven't found a longer-lived one yet....
