A new Tarte eye shadow kit at Sephora. It has a lot of nice browns, purples, and some neutral light colors in it as well as one peacock green eyeshadow and one magenta eyeshadow in it. Most of the colors work well with my light skin tone-:) I think it cost me $36.

I forgot the name of the palette, but I think it's a new one. I got a lipstick from them in a blue casing too but I hate it as it makes my lips look dry. I'm returning it. That cost me $21. Stay away from the lipstick in the blue tube. It sucks. The eyeshadow goes on great though, and the colors are amazing!

I think a bed is a worthwhile investment. I didn't realize what a good bed and pillows, sheets, etc can do for longer sleeping time. I stayed at the Westin St. Francis (SF) and they offer the "heavenly bed" and OMG i felt like a princess.

  1. I went to The Container Store this weekend and spent $200 on an a la carte metro shelving unit. It's 14x24 and about 6 feet tall, with 6 shelves, although I'm considering shifting things around to fit one more shelf.

It fits perfectly at the end of my kitchen counter and now I have plenty of space for my pots and pans and other cooking/baking accoutrements (sp?). My kitchen is remarkably well-equipped considering how small it is. HUMBLE BRAG ALERT.

I'm mainly happy that my cast iron pots/pans are now at waist level so they're much easier to wrangle. As well as my Instant Pot, which used to live on top of the fridge. I've fallen in love with my kitchen again!

Hi Kelly, it was $39.95. I think retail is $69.xx. It's handheld like a blow dryer and the demo shows it crushes a soda can. I like the  size compared to those with a bigger footprint on ones counter. I can't wait to play and save some dollars.

I know I love bargains too! Some things are like drug store buys but they have much better prices than even the drugstores. It does take a couple of weeks for delivery but worth the wait. Plus, the shoes, the bags, even the pricier stuff is a big saving over western sites.

I got this bag in the dark blue for $59 which I love. Took 3 weeks to get here. Fellas take note, this is a nice gift. Unless your girl has to have designer labels, which I really don't care about. Actually the same bag is on Amazon for $135 with no shoulder strap.

  6. I have radically different priorities as far as spending. My bag of choice costs $15-$25 (the Blue Q messenger bag):

    google.com/search?q=blue…

And I hate spending more than $50 for shoes.

However, if it's something for home/kitchen, I'll drop $200 without blinking.

Except for Le Creuset. I refuse to pay those prices.

Never got into bags or purses, unless reusable grocery bags count.  I do love dresses with pockets, coats and jackets with deep pockets are excellent. I'm not a makeup person, so all I need with me are my keys, phone, a cc card, id and a tiny tube of lip balm.

I do love shoes, like really really love shoes but even then I don't buy all the time. Once a year I'll treat myself to a pair or two. Nothing too expensive.

They come in various color Michael. I have been looking for them in the as seen on tv stores but I haven't seen them yet. They work great though. I just threw out about 8 pans that I no longer use since I got them. I use them everyday so it isn't like they are some kind of novelty. They are also pretty heavy duty. I was planning on getting a set of enamel coated cast iron to go with the Le Crouset I already have when I decided to try these instead.

I love buying sweaters, harness, and anything for my Dog. She is a small rescue Maltese/Yorke and in the almost 2 years I have had her I found out how easily her fine hair gets matted.
The groomer suggested some kind of clothes under her harness because their hair Matt's easily and I had to get her shaved down shortly after adopting her because I didn't realize this was happening?
They sell thin sun shirts with an SPF 50 blockage so her pink skin will not get sun burnt!
Anything and everything for my wonderful little dog is my guilty pleasure to spend $ on!

    • 565 reviews

@ Gloria, please make sure your loves groomer is experienced. I've been told if they shave/clipper shave off too much, their fur is sun protection, and if it's very very short, your doggie can get sunburns or heat stroke. Underneath is ok, but the part the sun kisses can be susceptible to a burn.

@Chefs Daughter D: Her shave was about 1 1/2 years ago and was my fault for letting her fur get so matted without realizing it because I never had this breed before!
I tried everything including buying a special grooming tool to get Matt's out. This was to painful and cruel for her so a shave was necessary.
    Thanks for your input!
