Best swimming beach in Russian River area

    Last time we kayaked down Russian River from Guerneville to Monte Rio, we found an amazing beach --a big sandy area and a great clean area of water with depths perfect for swimming.  We stopped off for an hour or so and relaxed there. It was a great alternative to Johnson's and Monte Rio beach, which are overly crowded.

    Does anyone know the name of this beach?  I want to find it again but drive there instead of kayak there this time..  I tried googling, and couldn't come up with anything.
