    Random question: is it legal for organizations to solicit people on buses - be it for donations, petition signatures, voter registrations?

    I'm just curious. I got hit up on the bus today, and it struck me that I didn't usually see this happen on buses, and that given the captive audience, I'm surprised more organizations don't do it. Unless of course, it is in fact illegal...

    I don't know if it is illegal or not to solicit on the bus but...

    ...I'd imagine people on the bus wouldn't want to be bothered.  Just my guess...every time I've seen people getting onto and off buses, they don't look too happy.
