Cheap yet good car wash/detailing in the city?

    I'm loathe to pay too much to this, and don't want to wait till I go to the south bay during the week... does anyone have any recommendations?

    Well, I go to this place on 16th and South Van Ness...

    I can't say whether it's greatly priced because this is the only place I ever been too....

    I will say, that I got my oil changed, a car wash, the inside cleaned, and my car wax for like $60 (give or take a 5) about a month ago...great job

    Divisadero @ Oak, $16, they do a good job...and you can get gas at a discount when you get a car wash too...

    The place at Divis & Oak is amazing.  The standard car wash at that place was better than any detail job I've ever had.
