Heyooo Good and Generous People of San Francisco!
I'm going through a major household purge and have 2 garbage bags of clothes and accessories and another gigantic bag of books that I need to get rid of.
In the past, I would dump them on the sidewalk and watch people scavange. This time I'd like to donate.
But I don't have a vehicle and the idea of making several trips to the goodwill via Muni with garbage bags o' crap makes me irritable.
Do donation places do local pick ups anymore? Does anyone know?
Thank you Good Yelpers of the Bay Area!6/20/2007 -

Salvation Army and Goodwill both do pickups. They have a minimum requirement, and do not pick up certain computer items.
