    Does anyone know what could be causing a EPC sign on a volkwagen jetta? I was at target driving when suddenly my car turned off and wouldn't start.  Someone helped me push it in neutral and then it turned on but its making strange sounds and the EPC warning sign is on. Does anyone know what this could be? Thanks in advance

    Torch it and buy a Toyota

    If it's running weird it's probably a sensor failure and now it's in "limp mode"
    designed to just get you to home a service center or safely off the street.

    Jettas haven't been made in Germany for a long time. Hatchbacks are more practical there.
