    Hey!

Me and my hubby are in Europe over christmas. Gone for 20 days. Anyone knows cheap long term parking soulutions?
We are thinking about putting the car at San Bruno BART parking, but its $120, to take a shuttle will be 70 bucks cheaper! Im wondering if there is a long term parking in the city and we can take a shuttle to the airport anyway_ Or will it kind of be the same price in the end anyway?

    Thanks y'all!

If you already have parking available in SF, I'd just take a shuttle or get friends to drop you off.  We parked at BART-San Bruno for a week and the total cost (incl BART to SFO) was $58.20...about $8 cheaper than parking at Park SFO for 7 days (less 2 free days coupon).

I found an interesting website that links to another website that might have a solution.   More people are realizing that their driveway or condo parking space is a valuable commodity, and are renting them out on a part-time basis...sometimes monthly, weekly, or daily, and even hourly.  You have to register, which is fairly quick, and can search for what you're looking for by neighborhood.  The first site is findingthesweetspot.com which is all about parking in San Francisco...the absurdity of it, the history of it, secret spots, etc.  Go to the links page and go to homegrown parking.  There is the other website.  An add on craigslist might be interesting to post as well.  There also are streets that have no neighborhood or 2 hr rules, so essentially you can park there all day and night for free.  You will need a neighbor or friend to move it on street cleaning day though (which is every other week instead of every week in most neighborhoods now).  On street sweeping day, it is okay to park on the sidewalk of the side of the street in effect, during those 2 hours of cleaning.

    Have a great trip.
