There are a lot of changes with the park & fly lots near Oakland lately.

Anyone have a suggestion who has used them recently?

Wow- I wish I thought to ask about parking- I assumed parking in an uncovered econo-lot a couple miles from the airport on a large filled in swamp (or estuary) would be cheap.  It was like 21 bucks a day, and I had no time to shop around when I got there....

Thanks Aspasia!   Sounds like a great place to park, wow quality & service in this realm, what a concept :)   Bummer that it's way out in San Leandro though, because I live in SF.

And about the PM rule, more of a rule of thumb since I can understand the un-coolness factor that surrounds the newbie status  :)

Wow Tara, that's a lot of an 'econo' lot!  I haven't been there in a few months but I think there were places around $9 day.  But I heard they have made a lot of changes and all raised rates recently.

We always use Park n. Fly at OAK and have been very satisfied.  You can generally find coupons on their website offering a discount or a free day - probably runs around $11/day.

One caveat:  when we came back to OAK this past Sunday, there were crowds of angry people waiting for the Park n. Fly vans.  I guess they had been pretty slow in picking people up and bringing them back.  Hopefully this was only a one time problem.

Cat - ignore whatever moron told you that!  I promise Pic T. won't mind if you PM him!  I don't remember how many reviews I had when I first PMed someone, but I'm pretty sure it was way less than 30.  Obviously, you don't want to just PM a bunch of random people, but if someone recommends that you PM someone, it's completely appropriate.

I have never used AirPark, maybe try calling their office.  I have used Park & Fly but heard they were bought out recently.

I'm confused, what do you mean by changes? The drop off point because of construction at the terminal? Ownership of individual lots?
