    Thinking of a way to reduce air borne allergens and thought..hummm this might bring up the heat...heat rises...but is it worth it? Lived in a place in Marin that had it in the bathroom and it was FANTASTIC...especially those cold winter mornings on a tile floor....

    Yes.  It's very pleasant, although we don't need it nearly as much hear as in a climate where the floor can get cold.

    I don't see how it would cut down on allergies.  A central heating system with a filter is probably most effective, and also making sure you get some outside air and circulation.
