So me & 2 friends I've known for a long time are all dating each other. But it's hard because we can't really tell anyone. What should I do?

How kinky is a threesome of fake accounts?

  2. More people are accepting of poly people than you think. You don't have to tell anyone that you don't want to. I can tell you that a lot of people don't really get it. Privacy and trust is a big part of it though, so really be careful who you decide to tell.

I know we can keep it totally confidential here...

  3. YT Confidential is more legit than LA.

female polyamorists always seem to be very fat and unattractive.

  4. Not true. Of those that I've met, they've mostly been very attractive women. I was nearly involved with a group of three that were all super attractive people, damn them. Haha. Maybe on the curvaceous side but I do not consider that fat, as a fat person myself.

Lol Umesh, nice reference. Bud is a hottie.

^Ahh, so you actually met some attractive ones? Dang, I need to step into that wormhole into the alternate universe of attractive female polyamorists. This present reality is too much of a buzz kill and letdown where the actuality is at best meh, and at worst puke inducing.

  5. Yes I dated a poly man. So I met a fair few.

It is a wormhole, man. One I was not prepared for so I peaced out.

On one level I get it. I understand why people do it. But from what I saw, regardless of what I read (leave it to me to research polyamory while in a relationship), it is too hard to reign in the jealousy and drama. It can't be avoided. Someone is going to feel left out and start shit.

Do you all end up fighting about who's going to do the dishes?

    Or maybe it's the laundry.

  7. I don't have enough hands to be poly

^Yes. You need a lot of hands for all those dishes and laundry. Also shopping and cooking.

  8. How do you find the time indeed. You basically don't.

I agree with the general consensus on this one, keep the private stuff private.  Always.  And when the door is closed and the lights are out do what you do.  For me personally, I find one woman to be one too many most of the time, and while my SO has given me carte blanche to do whatever with whomever I choose not exercise this freedom which makes her more attracted to me.  I had a poly thing for awhile, it was complicated, in the end nobody was happy because eventually people wanted to nest and couple and competition emerged.  Now we don't talk to each other, which is a shame.

  10. So just curious, what's the combo? 2 girls and 1 guy, 2 guys and 1 girl, 3 girls? If you don't wanna say, that's totally ok. Just curious.

  11. I'm curious too!!!

  12. But not bi-curious

  13. Just uno. One. Thank you.

The poly guy I know talks about his primary and his secondaries. I thought he was talking about transformers (not Transformers) at first.
