    I'm looking for a new self-storage unit. Doesn't have to be SF proper, either. I'm paying $79 for a 4x6x9 (or similar dimensions). I need about half that space now and about half the price would be good. Suggestions?

    Outdoor or indoor?  This somewhat makes a difference but,

    They used to be All aboard Storage when we used it back in the days.  Outdoor storage and can be pulled up easily since it is all on the ground floor.

    Indoor and pretty secure as my in-laws uses this place before.  

    Now if you want somewhere further out of SF, there are couple of the standard storage place you see and hear.  as you know, price will depend due to storage facility seems to fill up fast season by season.

    I had good experience at the Extra Space in Emeryville, right at the end of the Bay Bridge.  Long hours, good mangement, secure and clean.
