    Hello!

I got a puncture in a tire in my Tesla M3 that Tesla claims they cannot repair. Judging by the Tesla forums many people who are rejected by Tesla get their tires repaired just fine by local tire shops.

Has anyone gone to a non-Tesla tire shop to get a tire repaired that was rejected by Tesla's shop? If so what tire shop did you go to? I am looking specifically for SF or peninsula.

    Thank you!

Where on the tire is the puncture?
If your tire blows out at speed on the freeway, do you have a plan?

Just go to any place that is not a chain, If they won't fix it, good chance it should not be repaired.

Tesla tires have narrow treads compared to tires on regular cars. The area where they could be plugged safely should be much narrower. I would just buy a new tire or pair, but that's just me.

I doubt that has anything at all to do with it.
Apparently some (all?) have some "acoustic foam" (option?)
The suitability of the interior site for standard repairs would then be the issue.
I never heard if this topic/issue,
    So googling ensued.
As expected the usual posts by the ill-informed that think a exterior injected glue plug is the nationally approved repair (it is not in anyway acceptable to modern standards)
But recurring reference to some OEM foam "liner" suggests that is the root of the issue if requesting an "official" repair
