I checked google and you tube.. There are too many kits to choose from. Google doesn't show prices.  Any recommendations?

If you or someone you know can follow directions,  Wal Mart sells IDQ EZ Chill  (The Artic Freeze version works even better).  All cars since 1996 use R 134a and the valve only fits those cars.   The gauge take the guess work out if you need more refrigerant gas.   Just do not add more than 1 can to be safe.

The reason you do not want to DIY is   Why are you low?  Got a leak?  How bad is the Leak?  What other parts could be bad? Will you cause more damage?   On some cars if you are too low you will not be able to fill at all.    Cost is ~$35   CA makes you return the can in 90 days or lose you $10 deposit.

Dont use the recharge kits. They can mess up the ac system.

Piggybacking on Angela's OP, how do you know you need a recharge? Is that the same a flush and fill? Mine has been blowing lukewarm air for the last week. Does that mean I need to do this too?

If freon is low(a tad) i would use the refil kits  to top it off

if its really low, system removed, leaking
I suggest getting it vaccumed and filled by a professional machine.

Chatty, You need to check how much freon is left in the system, since its already blowing lukewarm I would suggest you to bring it to  a shop

You can tell if your car is not blowing cold air like it used to or u can buy a gauge to see how much you have and it goes on the frion recharge can
