    I'm looking for some recommendations on appliance repair so I can get my Frigidaire freezer fixed (it's leaking air and causing frost).  The guy I found here never showed up and all of the other reviews are either from a few people or give bad marks.  Recommendations and any details for someone in SJ or the South Bay would be appreciated.

    If your appliance is more than five years ago, replace it.   The return on investment for repairs will not be worth it.

    Hi Walter, I would agree, however, I don't think this is mechanical and therefore don't expect it to be over $200.  Do you have a repair cost threshold that you use for the repair/replace decision?

    Whatever you do, do NOT call Sears for repairs. They're repair business is HORRIBLE!

    Talk with Sergey at SM Value Appliance Repair. He fixed my refrigerator and also the burner on my stove which had been non-functional for years. He always does a great job and is alot cheaper then buying new appliances. His number is
