    creamerytire.com
I have been getting tires here for my cars for years!  They are the cheapest in my area, and quick with service.
Check them out i'll post a review soon.
    Good luck

America's Tires!  I love their customer service and you can actually bargain with them on the prices, or maybe get them to throw in free warranties on all four.

You can order directly from Tire Rack for cheap and then just find a place to have them put on.

Check out Tire Rack.. I've done what Shalee talks about at Pacific Tire Outlet in Milpitas 3+ times.

Great test results, user feedback, etc on Tire Rack.

They're busy at Pacific Tire Outlet, and Phil, the Mgr is a "go, go, go" kind of guy. If you have regular
setup he may be able to beat Tire Rack prices... and you won't get nickled and dimed to death like
    at Wheel Works, etc.

Total straight shooter... if you can get prices for other places, call up Phil and see what his prices
are or if he has a different tire. But be specific with the exact tire/size you want for your car.

Suggestion is that you drop off the car and leave tho cuz they're usually very busy as people keep
coming back because of their great prices.

Don't forget that you most likely need to get alignment on these so your tires wear better and last longer!

BTW, Costco can be good, sometimes there are coupons.. but often that's on Michelins which are more
    expensive anyway.

We've had great luck with a new tire (to the US): Kumho

    Good luck.

most tires you can find anywhere local are wayyyyy overpriced! If you can find a shop that will install customer parts, go to tirerack.com . That's the BEST hookup ever. Most of their tires have been reviewed by customers so why buy something based on what a salesman will tell you to get more commission when you can choose tires based on what other people like yourself recommend? The Meineke in the midwest sells cheap nearly useless cooper tires as a convenience to customers, but will install customer parts. This is where I took my car to get my tires installed. It costed $10 per tire and I got free lifetime balancing. Tirerack also sells warranties, but to be honest it is VERY unlikely you will need them unless you get a POS.

America's Tire company!!! They have a huge selection of tires and they price match. So find the cheapest rate for the tires you want and ask them to price match. America's Tires also have $15/per tire for the life of the tire (usually 30,000 - 40,000 miles) so if you get a flat, get in aaccident, or anything, they'll replace that tire for free. I've actually had to use it, because I had a nail in my tore. Every 5000-7000 miles they do free rotating and balancing if you purchase you tire from here. Usually the wait here is about 30-45 minutes and they have locations all over the Bay Area. But definitely go to Tire Rack for tire reviews.

America's Tires (aka: "Discount Tire") discounttire.com/dtcs/ho…

But get the estimate online (and print it out!) and make the appointment online. It's about $30 cheaper than getting it in store. And the lines (especially the one on Stevens Creek) are super long.

What kinda suv you got? And what kinda tires you need?
I just got some stock GMC tires (rims and all) on Craigslist for $200 a few weeks ago.

cheap and quality don't come hand in hand. Cheap tires will get you from point A to point B, but either they won't handle heat well, adverse weather conditions well, low mileage life compared to others, the belts will come apart with age, easier to dry rot, poor handling overall, poor traction, ect. If you want cheap cheap, just buy some used tires. Junk yards are full of them and they come next to nothing.

With warranties, they usually just patch the tire if you hit a nail. They don't replace them because they will lose money that way. A patch is just a temporary hold like a bandaid to a fresh wound. It will work, but the integrity isn't as solid as if it didn't happen. The only way to be sure is to actually watch them replace the tire or ask for the old tire after they're done. Businesses are pretty thorough in making their policies, otherwise they'd be out of business!

  1. tirerack.com

is actually pretty cheap if you want to have them delivered and you take them to get mounted somewhere.

choose the tires on tirerack.. either order them online and have them installed at Walmart or take a print out and have it priced matched at Americas Tires or Walmart or even Sears if you have one in the bay area...

  2. If you order your tires from tirerack and are worried about your rims getting fawk i'd take it to a better shop like Auto Innovations yelp.com/biz/auto-innova… to mount your tires.

    martin "the butcher" b. says:

    Calderons tires
    ----------------------
    Too many problems with them.
Thank God they closed the one on 1st Street, but they had one on Virginia(?). Some dyke working there started shiet with me b/c her boss made an agreement with me that I can get free alignment and stuff (it was even written on paper). She kept calling me a "liar" and saying "we dont do FREE alignments and balances". Then the boss lady had to tell the dyke to stop yelling at me.

Even the one on Bascom got shady people.

Americas Tire says it will beat all Costco prices, but Costco Tires has gone green by not using lead weights to balance their tires.
