    Yelp in your top 10 list for EV auto repair has zero EV auto repair shops.  Only gas cars and they do not work on or "will try to see if we can do something".   I need a shop to replace EV batteries in a 2012 Leaf.   Not a mechanic for my gas SUV

    Yea the technology is not large enough for a shop to open and make money in the Bay area with high rent and worker cost.   The  company prevented  right to repair and dealers took care of the rest with 8 year warranty   LA  has a few .  Google says   Bob in Fremont  and  Argonaut  in Berkley.  Most people in the Bay just buys a new car now.

    There is a retired guy a couple of blocks over who rebuilds Prius battery packs for fun. A Toyota dealership gives him all the work he can handle. Usually there are just 1-3 bad cells.
