Yeaaa look it's my first post!! Now on to first post black holes and revelations of utmost significance to today's society.. or at least 3.14159265 % of the population. Make mine coconut cream please!
Things that makes me happy...
i enjoy watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and occasionally those old school Kung Fu movies, i also run around my back yard singing to myself pretending I'm in a karaoke video or Bollywood movie, whichever suits my mood. I also spend hours @ borders or Barnes n Nobles reading books for FREE! I have a habit of going to my local 24 hour Walmart @ 3am to run around the toy isle on a razor scooter and press all those "try me" buttons on various toys. I once fell asleep in a Walmart tent/camping display.. but that's another story.
It takes so little to make me happy ;)5/16/2009 -

That the IRS just sent me a bill for 40,000, which not only did I not have to pay, but turns out they owe me over a thousand dollars!

Seeing children happy. It is so easy and costs so little.
1. Say something nice the next time you see a child. - Adults these days are often rude to those younger than they are, and that is a bad example.
2. Drop some pocket change where kids often are. - I bet you still fondly remember when and were you found some money as a kid. - Cost to you, 25 - 50 cents. Happiness to a kid, priceless.
3. Next time you see a mother in line with several kids, let her go ahead of you. Kids, hate waiting in lines, and this small act on your part, may save others later that day, from having to listen to a cranky child while eating in a restaurant. - This may be you !
4. Stop for that kid waiting to cross the street in a cross walk. - It is the law, but be mindful, if you are in a multi-lane road, not to waive the pedestrian on, if other cars are coming. Other drivers may not see the child and may hit them.
5. Consider doing some volunteer work at a school, or community center. Churches, youth sports centers, and many other places may be looking for help.5/16/2009 -

really good food, reading, friends...and this one is my favorite, because its random: nice interactions w/peeps in grocery stores, drug stores, etc. You know, you let them go ahead of you, they let you go ahead of them, and you just...chat. Or a chat in the aisle as you are pondering buying the same thing...Nice!
