I phoned the Volvo dealership, inquiring about some minor repairs that I needed done to the car. I asked what the shop rate was for the labour charges, I was told $120 per hour. I would like to find a shop that charges 2/3 of what Volvo was asking. Would be nice to have an honest long lasting relationship with a reputeable mechanic? If anyone has some fgood advice feel free to inform me? Thank you!!!! Troy

I've got my fingers crossed that someone can give you a hand! I have a VW, and it's under lease, so I take it to a dealership. Having said that, the dealership I use (Westminster Volkswagen) is really great! Their service team always gives me the scoop without trying to "upsell" me anything. But I don't know if they do Volvo's nor do I know what their labour charges are per hour. But I am do for a servicing. I'll check to see what it is per hour.
