Where does one find the best fish and trips in Vancouver?

  1. Probably Pajos in Steveston....

Yes Pajos and then Montgomery's in North Van @ Lonsdale Quay.

Note that neither are in the city of Vancouver itself though.

Pro tip: The Pajos over in the park is usually less busy than the one down on the wharf.

Around my neighbourhood, can't go wrong with Cockney Kings.

Ah..  Pretty sure the best I have had is at Mountain WoMan in Britannia beach.   The fish is fresh and you get some different choices. Black cod, sea bass, flounder, ling cod. All caught from the sea right there, behind toh ad you order. Then there is the conversation along with the little patio. I have had pajos in steveston and rocky point. Average at best. And usually you have some mid teen cooking it for you. But I can't recommend pajos on the food alone.

3.5 stars franchises on yelp always makes me worried.  Montgomery's Fish & Chips is a bit far.

    How about these 2?

Fresh Local Wild is a food cart.  It's pretty good for what it is, but I find it very overpriced.  My boyfriend & I recently went to C-Lovers on Denman st.  He's from the UK and they do a lot of fish and chips there.  He was happy.  I normally don't like F&C but I must say, I fell in love a bit.  I also wrote a review for them - check it out :)

Go Fish has pretty good fish and chips, but the lineups there continue to be insane ...

Hmm. What a strange request. There's a sushi place in the lobby of that sports rehab clinic on Oak St. I'm sure you could find both there.

Unfortunately there is no edit button and sometimes when I think in Chinese, the conversion from the thoughts to fingers have issues translating.

Go Fish is way better than Pajos by far!! The lineup at Go Fish is worth it, Pajos is a mediocre tourist trap.

Mountain WoMan doesn't use fish 'from right there' they use whatever their supplier sells and it's all frozen-there is no commercial finfish fishery in Howe Sound no matter how close one is to the water.

Go Fish has decent fish but their chips suck/have always sucked and service there is often a nightmare.

Dave's fish and chips in Steveston. You can't beat it. Pajo's is a solid runner up as well.

Windjammer on Commercial . Caveat - I only had food at Main St location, so not sure if quality is still the same. Hubby enjoyed their mushy peas!

Oh man - if you're up for a drive or ever in the area - Coney Island Seafood in White Rock. Their halibut is the best f&chips I've had since my days on the rock!

Cockney Kings Fish and Chips is my favourite! Two locations: one in North Burnaby in the Kenslington shopping plaza and the other location is in New Westminster near New West skytrain stn in the Shopping plaza with the IGA

Take out prices are awesome! Two piece halibut and chips is less than
$13.00 and plenty enuff for two people to share!

    Great seafood chowder too!
