Where is the best restaurant /pub /bar /hole in the wall dive to get chicken wings. Preferably not to expensive and a good quantity? I've been looking forever and it's hard to find a good place. The place WINGS sucks balls so don't suggest that place. Also what are some places with a good variety of wing flavors???

It's been a few years since I've been, but the Cat & Fiddle in Poco used to have a great selection of wings. I really liked their Jamaican Jerk Chicken ones... Intensely spicy. :-)

Indochine has fantastic wings, though not a lot of variety.  From what I heard being family related, they have Phnom Phen's famous recipe and is worth checking out I'd you've never had it. Oh did I mention its half price on Wednesday and there's beer specials? I should as its fantastic!

The Pint has a wide variety of wings. The quality varies just as widely.

  1. If you don't mind Richmond, The Flying Beaver

@danj agreed. The Pint has maybe 30 something flavours but been there twice and once they were super dry and the other, delicious. Check it out between 3 and 6pm to get a free order of wings with a pint of beer! Not sure if it's just a  mon-fri deal though.

Yup. The kitchen apparently responded to complaints of dryness by smothering mine in butter! Yup. Butter. On chicken wings. They were inedible.

  2. Agree with Herman E...Flying Beaver is a good choice! Also try the Wing Pub and Grill chain...they have over 2 dozen types of wings and they are pretty tasty.

  3. Oops sorry Rochelle just read the bottom of your post...:( scratch my comment above. Flying Beaver it is! :)

  4. I second The Pint for wings. I'd stick with the wet sauces rather than the dry rubs. And you have to get the dipping sauces!
